For what it's worth I love Wrighty and think his presence on these football podcasts and shows always brightens things up, he usually has a way of cutting though more technical analysis and putting things in a succinct way that the everyman can easily understand.
That said, sadly I think Wrighty is seeing something that very likely isn't there, for black men in recent years, it's probably very easy to fall for the prevailing narratives about victimhood, usually the older fellas are better as seeing through it because they were around when actual racist beliefs were quite normal amongst the bulk population.
Bellingham can come off quite arrogant, as do some White footballers, and guess what? We tend to think they're arrogant as well. I think racial grievance is on its last legs as a currency, I imagine some people saw this thread and thought, "oh no", which is probably a change from how something like this would be seen only a few years ago.
Racism exists, but I feel if you're going to draw attention to it in 2025, you better be right or your card will get declined and your social credit will get depleted.
