They were excellent. Brobbey looked desperate to do something and now he has a goal he may well settle an be a massive asset.

He’s busy. He’s physical, he is a threat and his runs and movement are gonna get him chances. I like him.

Just watched MOTD and actually what a finish it is too.

Adingra worked his bollocks off as well and Talbi had a couple of lovely carries.

    All did very well.

Playing 'Opposition Fans Bingo' is helping me wake up chuckling this morning ...

... it's a great game for the whole family <laugh>

The rules are simple, you get a point for every new excuse bitter fans come up with.

Here's some of the latest, from the Burnley forum in this case ...

    • Our fixtures have given us an advantage
    • We've played teams who've had European games
    • Arsenal have an injury crisis
    • The away fans are stuck away in the top tier
    • It's down to luck
... and that's just a quick glance, great entertainment.

Just dawned on me 2 assists and a goal from defenders, that doesn’t happen often.

£12.5 million combined Big Dan and Nordi.

Surely we are going to jail at some stage for that absolute robbery in plain sight?

Credit Shearer (still on MOTD), defends Dan to the hilt, correctly, staying clean facts.

Looks like a pen against Brobbey had the goal not gone in, not that Var would have paid any attention to that of course

He actually stood up for us really well, even he can’t deny what he’s seeing, although it’s probably hurting him a bit.
    Come on you Brentford boys.

I'm not having it that we 'roughed them up ' tbh. We were firm but fair, i thought . I honestly thought we roughed Jack Grealish up on Monday, than the whole Arsenal team

Nice to see he didn’t just stand and watch, he was only a yard short of blocking the shot and saving a goal.
Like Regis keeps saying he’ll learn from this.

    Mind, reviewing Arsenal, some side.

Every players touch is immaculate. You have to fight to get at the ball as nothing gets lose, rarely even the slightest error.

Zubimendi and Trossard in particular were both absolutely superb at points, I’m sure Zubi is the reason they’ve gone up so much this season to date.

Also, to see the level Raya is at now is incredible, they’ve developed him into a ridiculous keeper. Top 5 in world realistically.

For us to be competing and rattling them is superb, they’ve developed will continue to blow teams away IMO just Regis an Granit have us playing at a determination level that’s so hard to fathom. They won’t see that often and we are right to be so glowing in the pride for the team.

I love how animated Reg is compared to when he first came in. He looks like he truly believe he belongs at this level now, and he is right to think that.

Sitting 3rd is beyond our wildest expectations, but it’s fully deserved. We can compete with anyone, absolutely anyone, in a one off game.

I’m excited to see what we do in January. We brought in a Rolls (Nordi) and a Bentley (Alderete) as relegation ‘certs’ in summer. We got Sadiki (who will be a £70 million plus sale), Granit who has elevated club profile as there’s barely a day passes without reference to him on the main football pages.

Next level players, they’ll fancy it now. For the first time since Reid the SOL is a ****ing melting pot consistently and it must be beautiful for the players to play at home.

Vlahovic hasn’t signed that new deal yet <laugh>

It's all bitter and delusional but luck! ****ing hell what luck? None of this is luck and thats why our fan base are loving it!

I know I mentioned the Wolves fan who proceeded to lecture me online about how we weren't as good as I made out had played no one and there is no way we could get a result like drawing to Spurs. This was just before Utd match and we would get a mauling by Utd and Wolves would easily beat us and we could easily lose the next 10 matches. He was 100% sure we would be relegated and they would stay up! I told him he was chatting **** when he said he had watched us and we weren't very good at all and would soon struggle after out lucky start, I was confident we would trouble moat teams we played and had chance if a rwsult against anyone because of what I had seen so far !

Since then we have won 8 points to their zero and that numpty deleted his online account :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Even comments on BBC were the same odd Arsenal fan complimentary with plenty jumping on to disagree. Lot of Liverpool fans saying how can it be a harder match when Liverpool beat them but this was a draw, not that ****ing hard is it? Liverpool was a worse result but it was a harder game against us! Best comment on thay BBC "little Sunderland lucky again. You will be relegated come the end of the season!" **** me even match of the day highlights don't show us to be lucky!

No way can anyone who actually watches a few of our games think there is any luck in it! But there are delusional fans of the teams who expected us to be rooted to the bottom who are trying to convince themselves we will still be relagted once the luck stops! They are going to be dissapointed!

Probably been asked before but I’ve missed it.
Who actually came up with Til the end.
I can imagine someone coming up with it now but how did they do it before anything had happened, they should be given a medal.

Mate we were discussing this after the game. Whoever came up with it seems to have cast some kind of magic spell as it’s became a ****ing ethos and symbols of the whole club. Funnily enough I was in Sunderland yesterday morning (hours before the game with missus) and was taking to her about the mural and explaining it (she asked) it’s like this marketing came alive and attached itself to the club.

    Oh, and it’s brilliant.

Some decent replies tbh. But a lot of it's jealousy imo. Our fanbase passion has a lot to do with the players leaving it all on the pitch. You'll not get that, with respect, at Burnley

He had credit in the bank for the cross for Ballard in the play offs. Class act. He will learn and as you say we move on.
