Is playing for Merthyr better for him than in our U21’s - could understand if it was a top ten 5th tier team but mid 6th? league team
Always remember Earnie saying how his spell at Greenock Morton did him the world of good because it exposed him to the full rough and tumble of senior level football. I'm with Sparkey on this one.
OK, so he's a "loaned in" player rather than a loaned out, but I'll post it on here anyway. Rodney opens up about his loan move to City........... https://sportwitness.co.uk/used-as-the-scapegoat-cardiff-city-player-is-keen-to-prove-himself/
Summary of our loaned out guys. None doing particularly well. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...s/cardiff-city-player-sent-nightmare-32709099
Thought Reindorff might have had a few more goals. Him and Spiers are probably the only two we'd want back.
That's interesting, but I can't see the point of that arrangement - a youth loan that means he can still play a non first team game for us ..... https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/u21-will-spiers-joins-merthyr-town-youth-loan
I agree, oddly interesting, but not practical. I suppose it depends on how often Merthyr train. Are they full time?
Not sure where to post this so I'll stick it on here. He's not loaned out now - but he was. So nice for the lad who's been sidelined through a bad injury this season............ https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/eli-king-extends-contract-bluebirds
He is spoken of highly within the management team. Could be a good 'investment'. There have been a few contracts extended since BBM arrived. Building some stability for the future. Probably cheaper than some of the journeymen we've had over the years as well. Encouraging for the youngsters coming along behind as well.
