I think it’s about time people stop with the narrative that every team we beat is because that team played crap. At what point do they say Sunderland made them look crap (which in my opinion we did yesterday) by restricting them the space they wanted and utilising how well we can effect a game without the ball.
This is not aimed at anybody on here but more at the Chelsea blogs and club itself along with Jason Cundy who whilst giving us credit immediately followed that with how poor Chelsea were. Chelsea were playing well and moving through the gears through the first 2 thirds of the pitch but were not good in the last third because of how disciplined we were.

Let pundits and other fans say that ****e mate. I said it a few times in here yesterday as a piss take of thats what we keep being told: "yeah you are doing well cause you had an easy start" and then play a good team world champions no less and its "yeah you beat them but only cause they didn't play well".

Let them ignore thr fact teams aren't playing well cause we aren’t letting them. That Chelsea propaganda piece makes it sound like we had two chances and parker the bus the entire match ffs!

I am sitting at work in the middle of nowhere and find it difficult to comprehend where we are as a club.
I watched last night as the second half was melting away and all I could think is we will get another chance, then Wilson slid into a 50/50 on the edge of the Chelsea box.
**** me that is commitment from your centre forward, then a few minutes later a ball over the top and Xhaka controls cuts inside and the Chelsea defender makes a good block, and I thought maybe our chance had gone.
In a room by myself at nearly midnight, have to be up at 4am but could not stop watching, then up steps Talbi and I was bouncing around my little room like a kid at Christmas.
I've been there mate. Go well and enjoy the buzz!

This has been happening since the beginning of last season. Team after team, licking their wounds and saying " we just couldn't get going today". I lost count last season, and already it's been said loads this season.

Regis just does a lot of work and the lads clearly take it in.

What nobody is saying we stopped Chelsea playing their game it's called tactics.
We cancelled them out.

Loved the motd post match interview with him and Isidore.
Wilson jumping around like a kid in a sweet shop all smiles .
20 year old Talbi, serious, we need to be focused for the next game etc.
Isidor nodding head. <laugh>

Fooking brilliant
Game yesterday was only slightly ruined by the mrs shouting up "why aren't you cheering"? When our 2nd went in.
FFS my stream on the phone was a few minutes behind
And the grandson constantly ringing and me declining the calls <laugh>

I see the bald boring Geordie bellend was missing in action on motd :emoticon-0148-yes:<laugh>

Honestly I prefer it this way. The lads and RLB won't be effected by it, it doesn’t stop us enjoying it but we might get one or two underestimating us!

Don't know if anyone remembers me mentioning my discussion with a Wolves fan online who reckoned we would go down and they would stay up as we hadn't played anyone yet? This was pre-Man U. He had us losing the next 10 cause he had watched us a couple of times and we weren't good we just hadn't played anyone yet. I said he was either talking ****e and he hadn't watched us or he was in denial of how much trouble they were in and using us as a oh well we are better than them because I was confident no team would find us easy and we could get results against anyone!

I think he sums up why so many other teams fans, especially those established teams down the bottom insist on denying we are a good team! The established teams have had it easy surviving recently and us staying up means one of them goes down. They are in denial!

P.S the lad was in reddit and I only replied to him commenting on a post about our good start saying we would go down still. He deleted his account after we beat them! Wonder if he was worried about me coming back to ask how his prediction was going! <doh><laugh>

I loved that with Wilson and Talbi. The complete different personalities from them when being told they were second! Wilson all fun and games and happy as he seems he always is and Talbi was all serious only matters where we are the end of the season.

I think that mix of personalities is excellent in the team as they will push each other to be a bit more fun or a bit more serious at times! Its quite obvious although Wilson seems like a fun loving bloke who will always have a laugh he is very professional. His improvement off the ball this season doesn't just happen, that is hard work and coaching (I have never been involved in sport at any level really either playing or coaching but I'm sure the lads from a coaching background will confirm my thoughts that the coaching can be the world's best but if the player doesn’t do the hard work it won't have much effect?).

Tell you what.

One of the things I’m loving most about this beautiful season is the level Isidor has found.

Don’t know if it’s better quality players around him or just stellar improvement, likely both, but the lad is making more runs, better runs, he’s making decisions faster, he’s using his body better, holding up better, linking play better.

Given the way he glows up the club, his heart, his love for us, the place. The absolute respect and buy in he’s had from day one, it’s one of the most wonderful side stories of the season for us.

When he’s punching that badge after he scores, he feels it, he means it.

Some boy our Wilson.
