Contrast his showing with that of Sinclair Armstrong who came on for BC last night and cost a fraction of what we spent on Downs - he put himself about and gave our defenders problems to deal with.

Yeah I remember him from two seasons ago, playing for QPR. Doesn't get a lot of goals, but is a f*cking nuisance for defenders to play against. Every club in this division has a striker like that. It's just part and parcel of building a competitve Champ team; Bruiser of a centre forward; two speedy wingers; lanky centre backs who specialise in heading balls out and not much else; wild-card foreign playmaker.

My only hope is that Spors is learning a lot from what has happened so far this season, and is ready on January 1st to rectify his mistake.

Like he should've been ready for the summer window, having had 6 months or so to prepare? <laugh>

Every Bristol City fan I know hates him, thinks he is utterly useless. Surprised he didn’t score against us, that’s usually the profile

Yeah, he's been awful for them. Hasn't scored since November last year or something mental, so was fully expecting him to visit Dr Southampton on that front.

That's somewhat prolific by our standards.

I maintain Onuachu would have been good in the Champ, I am baffled by people who preferred Stewart.

He allegedly refused to play in the Champ last time we were relegated, imagine it was the same this time

Can't find anything that confirms that. Did you overhear a bloke in the pub or read it on some social media disgrace?

This popped up on a Google search though "Paul Onuachu has transferred from Southampton to Trabzonspor, officially joining the Turkish club on a three-year deal in July 2025. This move follows a successful loan spell at the club during the 2023-2024 season, where he scored 15 goals in 21 matches. The transfer fee was reportedly around €7 million (£6 million)."

Going well this season, played 9 scored 7 with 1 assist.
