Edit: I get it. You're referring to last season when we lost 0-1 at Oxford...and Belloumi did his ACL.
Belloumi laughing and joking amongst the players during the photo shoot today. Obviously doesn’t tell us anything, but nice to see he’s in good spirits.
My son in law had his done last year, he had the least invasive option as he couldn't afford to be out of action for the time required for the full reconstruction, but as a consequence he's been told not to play football any more.
trouble is, 6 weeks out and will have to start the easing back in period again to stop anything else happening, so probably gettng on to xmas time before we see him fully up and running if all goes well..
One year out Then 6-8 weeks out immediately after coming back... If you do the maths that's practically one a game pretty much.
Its not even close to being comparable He had a genuinely traumatic ligament injury Sinik was awol with no diagnosis
Then by your reckoning everyone who ever did their ACL are 'just another Sinik'. There's a big difference between chronically injured players and players for whom recovery from a single serious injury isn't exactly linear.
Look, im a cynic. Glass half empty. I have my concerns with Belloumi. Appleby, Sinik etc They're valid. Our injury record is absolutely abysmal. Has been for years
