I suppose if they had an intended target a sniper position gives more accuracy. Lol, yeah some of them are.

I would be too if somebody laughed at my horse tbh <laugh>

I dunno, it all just seems a bit convenient to pin the blame and whip up more political divisions.

After Charlie Kirk, the supposed multiple shell casings had TRN written on them, and they were trying to blame it on Transgender supporters. It then turned out the TRN was the make of the munitions. And then low and behold, apparently the shooter had a note from his transgender partner .... Add to that, that within hours of catching the shooter, he was a leftie trump hating rainbow loving liberal, only then for it to turn out that he was from a Trump supporting gun toting republican family

And now this. It will be blamed on the Leftie refugees welcome crowd because they 'found' an Anti-Ice bullet casing. But there's zero evidence about when that was written, it could just be a plant to give Trump ammo (pun intended) to whip up more anti-liberal sentiments.

Like I said, none of it will be about the actual guns being the problem. It will all be levelled at a particular political stance and used to divide people even more.

I think the sniper bit raises a few suspicions with me, normally they just walk up and shoot people in the street, like happened with that medical insurance guy. I normally associate snipers with more high profile killings, and it was probably easier to take Charlie out via that method if you want to get away, especially with large crowds. I suppose it depends who this sniper took out at the immigration centre.

It also seems odd, as you pointed out, that if you're going to the trouble of using a sniper rifle, which presumably is because you don't want to be detected, then why turn the gun on yourself.

I dunno, I don't know enough about it all. But I just don't trust anything coming out of the FBI at the moment.

Another convenient distraction? It appears that following a Democratic election win last night, they now have enough votes to order the release of the Epstein files. Just about to fold some tin foil for a hat!!

I don't trust anything coming out of this current US administration right now.

Probably the only way they could shoot people in there. Hardly going to be able to rock up at the entrance with an assault rifle and be let in.

Out of interest had the bullet had anti Trump messages written on it would you be questioning its authenticity?

Not saying you're wrong here necessarily by the way, just interested if you look at everything with the same skepticism.

Very true mate, I think I allowed the fact of yet another sniper overlook the complexity of where they were actually shooting in to.

I'd imagine those places have extremely high security so it's almost certainly the only weapon capable of doing the job.

What I was skeptical about, was the fact that during the Charlie Kirk shooting they said they found multiple shell casings, but there was only one shot.

They then said the shooter was from a particular political leaning almost immediately, and then it turned out that he came from a family from the opposite side of the political spectrum

so it’s more about the messaging than the particular political leaning

Fair. Thing is I guess is we'll never know someone's true motives in many of these cases.

I find it quite sad how politicised everything is now and how there's always a rush to assign people an ideology whenever they do something terrible.

I just feel that there's a massive drive to try and divide people and any like you say, any incident is jumped on immediately to try and whip up a fight between the left and the right.

The elephant in the room in the US is of course the free access to guns, and it's my view that it's at least partly why there's the clamour to try and pin a political motive on these shootings, as it distracts from the argument to limit gun control

Fortunately I don't think there's any appetite for that in the UK

But, with the increasing rhetoric around immigrants being rapists etc, you do wonder how many more will fall for this bullshit and get scared enough to want to own one.
