    I know I was just playing devil's advocate. I remember after both Hughton and Allardyce got sacked my first choice to replace them was Martin Jol.

    No the guy was responsible for us losing Given and N'Zogbia, also don't really remember too many people calling for Allardyce to go, just a few people in the heat of the moment during the 3-0 loss to Liverpool.

    Anyone been watching This is England 88? Had it on the last 2 days, haven't been paying too much attention to it, but it seems pretty **** so far.

    (Havent got to the end of ep.2 yet, watching it on channel 4 +1, so might get good <whistle>)

    Yeah, it doesn't get much better. The blonde guy that looks 12 ends up ****ing the fit girl who he acts with. **** kicks off when his girlfriend catches him and he says he doesn't care about the girl he was having sex with and then she gets upset and it ends. It really has been crap so far <laugh>
