So she was a bit of a goer when she was younger. Who gives a ****? To be fair to her she's done incredibly well for herself considering she was a single unmarried mother at a very young age.

Now the fact she's dodged paying the taxes that her own party have put in place for everyone in this country makes her a criminal in my opinion.

Again that said she was probably advised to do this by members and peers in her own party.

It seems 1 rule for those in charge and another for everyone else which is 1 of just many reasons why this country is ****ed

She's gone and rightfully so. I like a lot of what I believed she stood for, but it's no good talking about standards and principles if you don't live by them yourself.

The hatred and division is coming from the right and chuck in a bit of misogamy too but not from me.

as a general point I don’t see the liberals, greens or Labour spouting the bile of the reform and Tory parties. It’s called progressive politics.

The biggest tax avoiders are the ones funding vile right wing social media which many are parroting. I’m sure you know the sort.

Given the news about Farage's very deliberate efforts to avoid tax - and the lengths he goes to to do so across multiple different mechanisms in different areas of his life - I am hoping that many on this thread retain a similar level of anger and disdain for the Right 'Honourable' member for Clacton

Well,hatred and division hasn't always come from the right,as you term it,nor has misogyny. I think you'll find there was plenty of bile coming from the Labour,Libs and Greens in the run up to the last election.....if you choose to call it progressive politics,that's your description.

Sadly he is developing a cult persona (you could change a letter if you wish) much like Trump and his cult followers are like sheep will not have a word said against him.

If you control the media like the right do you can literally get away with murder.

I’m not here defending the left and if you think that that’s your opinion however the politics of division and hate in this country and the US is coming from the right and it’s vile.

Back to this thread, obviously the Reformers are delighted to have got Raynor, however they need to look at Farage and his non dom billionaire backers for the real grifters and tax avoiders.

Whatever, Working class people need to open their eyes and see the bigger picture.

Not sure what your question is but I’m not defending anyone just pointing out the hypocrisy of the billionaires and their frontman who are manipulating many working class people in this country and I have said if Raynor has done wrong she should take her punishment.

However the constant targeting of working class lasses who have worked hard to get where they are has been disgusting.

Progressive politics… Have Labour had anything other than a white man leading the party, yet?

It wasn’t that long ago Labour were found guilty of antisemitism.

There has been nothing progressive about left or right politics for as long as I can remember.

She is still an MP. She will lose her ministerial salary, ( about £60k) but will continue as an MP. Pension, expenses and salary will continue

It depends on how you define success. On a personal level they certainly done that.
But in their roles they have been hopeless.
