Starting to get close to the wire for Kamara.

Not be ideal for him if he has to come back and sit on the bench, especially with Belloumi back and Akintola looking lively on Sat.

Also scuppering Hadziahmetovic would not be ideal at all!

One of the main problems with the Premier League is the ****ing awful experience that is VAR. Stoppages to discuss stuff that doesn’t even need looking at. Minutes before simple decisions are decided not to mention how badly wrong these decisions are. The weekend made my mind up. I won’t bother matching MOD now. The premier league is just crap viewing.

Worse than that imo is the wrestling. I want to watch football not some hybrid mix of football and wrestling. Not just meaning at set pieces either, it's happening all over the field in open play too, and deliberately blocking off runs off the ball with no punishment. All divisions but worse for me at PL, with yesterday's Liverpool Arse game being a prime example. Was looking forward to watching a good football match, but was the football was spoilt by the ridiculous wrestling that seems to be allowed nowadays.

We cant spend money but, can get a player permanently? Either Leeds are letting him come here for nothing or we're doing something dodgy. This is weird ngl

Makes you ask who is VAR for? The good of the game, the fans in the stadium or the fans at home all around the world watching on pay for TV with endless repeats from a multitude of camera angles mulled over again and again by a panel of pundits.

I wonder if part of that is that they actually enjoy the increase in controversy. Players, coaches and fans get annoyed by it but you can see how pundits and TV coverage commoditise all the drama; maybe it actually leads to higher viewing figures.

****e signing, really scraping the barrel now. The exact opposite of what we need.

Hull City are unlikely to be able to get a deal over the line that would see Reda Laalaoui registered to play in the Championship when it returns after the international break, with the saga set to continue.

The Tigers thought they'd signed the 20-year-old way back in mid-June from Fath Union Sport in Morocco for a fee in the region of £400,000, but that deal was not sanctioned by the EFL following the restrictions that were placed on the Tigers at the start of July.

Since then, club bosses have been in extensive discussions with the league in a bid to find a way forward for the player who has remained at the club throughout the summer, despite the ongoing uncertainty about what the future holds.

It now appears City will not be able to restructure their deal with Fath Union before Monday's 7pm transfer deadline, and therefore, Laalaoui will not be able to play for the Championship club until January at the earliest.

It is understood City are now exploring other options as to how they can move forward in the hope of getting the deal done later in the season for a player they value highly and feel has potential.

The wording of this is weird. It makes it sound like Laalaoui is still our player but can’t play until he’s registered. If so, why is it any different from Puerta?

Mist have been an agreement between us and Leverkusen to cancel the transfer. We must really want Laalaa and he must be keen on coming to England for him to be happy to wait around whilst this plays out.

Only feasible explanation

Yeah really ****e that we signing a player who is capped at most levels up to England U21's, played in a Plymouth Team that had a bad season but still did ok, at Man City and Leeds, we really must start looking at players from Barcelona or Bayern.

Agree. I thought the referees were told to clamp down on the wrestling in the penalty area this season. The pulling and holding in the box is fouling surely! Also, has the obstruction rule disappeared from the rule book?

I don’t think he’s ****e and he’s not a number 6 anyway.

We need a number 6 and hopefully that’s what Hadžiahmetović is. He’s composed receiving the ball deep under pressure and protecting the defence. He’s similar to Alzate but better defensively.

I feel Gyabi might be incorrectly profiled as a defensive midfielder due to his height. He’s a ball-carrying box-to-box midfielder and we still need another number 8 anyway due to Puerta not signing.

Sorry, missed a couple of bits out, edited now.
