I also think there should be a time limit, if they can't decide within 15 seconds its not clear and obvious
Be mad if that's the case, didn't they pay £5m for him? Would definitely be happy if it was true though, gives us another loan slot spare as well.
Is this lad from TWS instead of Amir? How are we getting both if it's supposed to be one out, one in?
Abu Kamara latest: One to keep an eye on We've still not had confirmation from the Spanish FA that they have accepted Abu Kamara's registration at Getafe. The contracts were signed on Friday night, but the move has not been ratified by the Spanish authorities, so until that happens, the deal cannot be announced and of course, that impacts Amir Hadziahmetovic's move to the MKM Stadium from Besiktas. All parties, I'm told, are working hard to sort it out. Gefate are selling Christantus Uche to Crystal Palace, which should help matters. We'll keep tabs on this and will provide any updates when we can.
Kamara deal stalling. Alphabet can’t come in without that. Wonder if we are looking at plan C options now we have a free loan spot.
They talk about a high bar for interventions but a big part of the problem is that for some types of incidents it really isn't a high bar. At times they seem determined to disallow goals; but then at other times they seem incredibly eager to give penalties, and will ignore incidents in the build-up if it allows them to give a penalty, even if a very similar incident in the build-up was previously used to disallow an open play goal, as we saw at Fulham v Chelsea this weekend. It seems like penalties play a ridiculously big part in deciding PL games, which has obviously made it more controversial than ever before. Our games are far, far less affected by referees than PL games are and that surely is a good thing. I can't understand why the authorities don't see that and are still so determined to force VAR through.
We can offer a sell on as part of a permanent deal under the fee restriction we just cannot commit to paying any fee ourselves, so if the lad from Leeds is out of contract next summer this works a lot better for them than loaning out as at least there is then potential for a future income from him without having to commit to tie him down to a further contract. I’m guessing there’s no cash offers on the table for him.
Makes you ask who is VAR for? The good of the game, the fans in the stadium or the fans at home all around the world watching on pay for TV with endless repeats from a multitude of camera angles mulled over again and again by a panel of pundits.
