seen something on their forum about the belief being that THB will be a cheaper option than Cresswell. This can only be true if cresswell is a sale only and THB is a loan fee

And I’d be highly skeptical about most of them having the same well thought out reasoning that you have.
Despite that reasoning the comparisons should stop though. They are not really that similar at all.
THB getting on the fringes of the England squad last year will be mean he’ll probably push for a move and we probably do need to lose a centre back, I guess one to watch
I don’t know what’s happened, impending parenthood, wanting more money or just premier league football but for me he hasn’t been brilliant for a while. I can understand a move to PL but West Ham- ffs???

People need to stop comparing Mara to Downs. They are nothing alike in terms of how they play.
They have the same hair though, so they must play the same.
Mara is underrated. He scored at an impressive rate of one goal every 2.5 games last season.

It’s unacceptable in my opinion. As I posted in the match thread in my view it only happens if he lied about his illness or did something stupid during the day that made him feel unwell. Either is not good enough

Bit late refusing to play when the team had been named? Surely if Downes didn’t want to play he would have said before Still named the team?
Not sure why we would say illness and not injury in the warm up if you’re making it up and why would you refuse to play after traveling up, getting off the coach etc
