Our resolve is gonna be tested without doubt, clubs know our position, so we are an easy target, but we've seen when we don't have Hughes how weak our defence is, Pandur started off nervy and prone to mistakes, but as he has settled, he has improved immeasurably. Lose either we will struggle, lose both were fkd. If the deals are sanctioned I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Serj walk, this ain't the gig he signed up for and to date the club have done well with what they've brought in to support him given the circumstances we find ourselves, but this really would be a bitter blow. What I could realistically see happening is getting through to January with both players, seeing where we are in the league, and if we are comfortable letting them go to the highest bidder.
Well he’s always in Santis restaurant and that’s ****jng dear Spending our money And then local business’s will suffer if he does **** off as he won’t be going there The man’s an utter **** and I don’t see how anyone can argue with that
I’m not sure that they will be prepared to pay what we would want to let Hughes go and I think that figure may increase if we get an acceptable offer for Pandur. I’d be really surprised if we sold both this window and suspect of the two, we’d be more prepared to let Pandur go but if that is the case, you’d hope that they would already have a replacement lined up.
Yep it’s an absolute travesty that local businesses will have to close just so Acun can waste a load of money to buy loads of **** Turkish players. But the flock of sheep our fan base is has well and truly had the wool pulled over their eyes so they won’t see it.
I think it's a very difficult situation for the Club and it's owner? Much depends on how desperate he is for a fairly large amount of money and how much fallout there'd be from the fan base if he did sell him.A lot of fans are still reeling from the embargo/sanction business and many have lost trust in the owner,a sale such as this could tip a sizeable percentage of fans over the edge? Our resolve(or the owners to be more specific),is about to be tested, this could be an interesting and pivotal couple of days ahead but surely the percentage call has to be...Do one Frank,he's not for sale!!
He won’t give a **** about what the fan base thinks, his only priority is to get his investors an ROI. That means profiting on saleable assets.
I can see Primark having to shut down for starters...All those black t-shirts and trousers gathering dust on their hangers could spell the end for their Hull branch!! Baaaaaaaaaaa...
The Tigers were considering loaning out James Furlong after he recovered from an injury which has kept him sidelined through injury, but he's now picked up another problem which may well keep him sidelined and prevent a move away.
Jakirovic met owner Acun Ilicali on Saturday after the 3-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers, to tell the Turkish businessman that he still wanted a midfielder and winger before the 7pm deadline. Despite Jakirovic wanting cover on the flanks, especially after seeing Abu Kamara move on, it's understood it's unlikely that City will bring in a fresh face in that area before Monday night's deadline.
Replacing Pandur and Hughes without spending money will be difficult. If Pandur goes, I could see a club loaning us a keeper - maybe one of Acun’s mates has one available. Replacing Hughes with a dependable, experienced and fit centre half is more challenging. if one goes , then the fee should balance the books a bit and give us a bit more cash flow - Sky money is due soon as well. If both leave then the finances look more dire. Hopefully the EFL compliance and oversight team will be on their game and making sure we are financially stable for the current season… you would hope.
Hughes is a young 21 year old lad from the north, settled here amongst best friends, why would he want to uproot and move to the midlands now to a team in the same division, surely he'd be better staying for a year then taking a bigger move straight to a premier league club?
Acun Ilıcalı and the Eternal Escape from “Trampwear” By Celeste DeVille, Senior Lifestyle Correspondent — Glitter Gossip Daily When you’re a billionaire media mogul with a taste for private jets, islands, and prime-time TV, the last thing on your shopping list is a Primark hoodie. Acun Ilıcalı, ever the image of jet-set polish, has allegedly developed a sixth sense for avoiding what he calls “trampwear traps.” According to sources close to him, the Turkish tycoon has mastered the art of retail dodging — gliding past budget chains as if they were invisible, his designer sunglasses shielding him from the glare of fluorescent lighting and £3 graphic tees. “Primark?” he might quip in an alternate universe, “darling, that’s for contestants, not judges.” Of course, this isn’t to say Acun looks down on the everyday shopper. In fact, it’s quite the opposite: he’s fascinated by the sheer stamina required to wrestle through bins of discounted jeggings. But when it comes to his own wardrobe, Ilıcalı has opted to stay firmly in the land of tailored suits and curated exclusivity. Because if life has taught him anything, it’s that survival isn’t just about ratings — it’s about looking the part, which means avoiding trampwear at all costs.
its easy to see why he could be interested in coventry any footballer who has ambition would be they will win more games of football than us and have a very good chance of going up it wouldnt affect him playing premier league football either way maybe he wouldnt want to go
Thinking from Pandur's viewpoint, I assume he'd be going to Boro as their number 2 keeper? If he wants to play games, why do that when he is one of the first names on our team sheet? Also, sounds like he wants to stay - so does Acun's "One Family" stuff work both ways? You know, if a player wants to go, we let them go whatever the price and whoever they are - but what about a player who wants to stay?
