I’m with you to be honest, think Baz can be adequate but the two backups are ropey, I’m just not surprised that a third keeper signing is, at best, passable. And I’ll always struggle to care about GK3 signings in comparison to anything else
In an ideal world, we'd have signed a proper keeper, give Baz that competition and pressure, and McCarthy would've filled that 3rd choice keeper role.
And yet here we are. Just disappointing. As it is now, neither Long or McCarthy are really going to be threatening to take the shirt.
