Guzzler from Goole is the king of buying an away match ticket and not seeing the match, mainly due to not getting in for being blotto. :emoticon-0138-think

I remember years ago a mate informing a copper who had pulled us up for making a noise and him telling the lad he was drunk that he was sober as a ludge.<cheers>

A character, wore a leather jacket with Suzi Quotro on the back in the late 70's, bunkers kop, so nicknamed Suzi at City, big City fan, strangely his Brough nickname was Baghead, I don't even know the origin of this but everyone seemed to have a nickname at Brough, sure he was involved with the TSA? supporters association, at one time, and he was a punk!
Remember this guy on the double decker buses. Big guy , wore glasses I think. Great characters and days out.

A few years ago the council were going to put bolt-down kerbs to create a protected cycle lane on Holderness Road. Did this ever happen because on Google Street View it still looks like just painted lines in the road which offer no real protection at all from car drivers.

But still allow cyclists to weave in and out of them. That is when they are not riding on the pavements that run alongside empty cycle lanes.

All that money spent to enable people to arrive at the galready maxed out Willerby roundabout ten seconds earlier.
Should have been built from the start as dual carriageway all the way from the bridge to Beverley. Same with York's northern ring road. No vision, no long term planning, just ends up costing tens or even hundreds of millions more further down the line.

Yet between Sheff south and Chesterfield there is a top drawer dual carriageway about the same distance as Hull to Beverley and it’s hardly used at any time of day - strange but true !
