A word for Adingra. Was a bit frustrating in possession again for me but worked his arse off out of possession. And his cross for Ballard’s goal was sublime.

To be fair SA i thought in pre season he was quite poor compared to some of the performances the new signings made. But today I thought he showed us what he’s about and he can get better

Did WMS ever apologise for their constant attacks and negative drivel against the best ownership in my lifetime? Or are they just skipping that bit now? <laugh>

It's funny, but I've met a few people (not many, but over half a dozen) who've met or had dealings with Robson Green and say he's actually alright as a bloke. Even admitted he was a tit as he made his name and it went to his head, which is why some people don't like him. Never met him myself, just going off what others have said, so I could be wrong but he doesn't bother me all that much. Ant and Dec however, there's two I'd love to see fed to a pack of starving wolves.

Other than die hard mags I've found it rare to find anyone who has a good word to say about Shearer. Not just his meanness, but his arrogance and condescending attitude that seems to have been there from being a kid. I genuinely think that if he'd not been a footballer, he'd be an unpopular **** house what ever he did.

Once in a while, something special comes along, a special era, Reid untested in Management in the 90s, same for Keane in the mid/late 00s.... then nothing for a while and In between all of that it's the "known" managers, and yes, a few good times. Then an untried, untested in England French bloke turns up.... First crack at the championship and he cracked it.... this is one of thoes eras where everything just lines up. Owner, players, Coach... everything. We're in the cusp of something special....remember it, drink it in, and to any young lads and lasses on here that may read this.... live it and remember it, because this is your "I can still remember when we beat Bury and went up", or "Remember when Nozz had that hat on down at Luton when we went up", because yous will talking about now in 20 years time with the same fondness.

Awesome day. Hoped for a win but didn’t foresee anything like that. So many good points made about the game, the crowd and the day. Loving catching up on it all.

can’t add much to what has already been said. other than @Southern A I am 99% sure you were a row or two ahead of me, but couldn’t get through the limbs to say hi. and LUKE ONIEN IS IN THE MOTD OPENING CREDITS.

    Top day!

Good luck for her op on Monday.
Mine is still in hospital but I managed to get substitute visitors for her this afternoon so I could go to game.
Emotional as we left, tearing up as I saw the team bus go past the stadium as we were walking up from the South Stand, then almost in tears as the goals flowed, putting my head in my hands and thanking my wife for insisting I went to the game because I had looked forward to it so much, with the words of "I will f...... kill you if you don't go". I managed to get to Darlington hospital about 6.50 to see her, where she had perked up a bit, although her infection marker had gone up to 420!!
To sum up today "WOW, WOW F...... WOW" :1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0152-heart

Just want to finish the day by giving a massive thumbs up to the crowd, who were ****ing brilliant today from start to finish.

The players from last year have experienced this atmosphere before and probably related it to the new players this week. It was great for the new players to experience the atmosphere themselves, to justify what they had been told.

When our crowd does special, it really is an extraordinary experience and one that our players will want to savour again and again.

    Well done to you all!
