Isidor, Roberts, Neil, Cirkin, O9 and Rigg will hopefully get a chance early doors and hopefully they grasp it. We are building a really good squad and would like to see these lads be part of it moving forward. Hopefully they grasp their opportunities
Really hope they do, some will make the step up others won't

Gutted some of them have missed most of this pre season

Rigg without question will step up.

We mustn’t forget how elite this lad is, ceiling wise.

Watch the club videos and this essential child is a massive and vocal part of this squad of grown, pro athlete men.

He takes the piss out of them, he supports them and he takes the ribbings he gets back.

The club usually pan to him on the videos, the club fully know what we have.

It’s not too far fetched to think a Rigg sale in a year or 2 clears out the net spend of this window.

I think with his youth he be quickly up to speed.

So quick to get in shape at that age I was caning the beer, gear and birds, living on Wetherspoons minted lamb burgers and I was still in shape.

Lads a level headed pro he will be in immaculate shape and just need so sharpening up. Likely plays 90 v Huddersfield and that will have him fully ready.

Psr is a bit of a lost leader, as we have seen with Chelsea, the cost is spread over the contracts and any home grown sales are straight on the profit line.

Add in how little we spent on transfer fees prior to promotion and we can spend a fair whack.

Then with wages being so strict in the championship (think we were running st 70% to turnover before it was even a thing)

We are well ran and dont take financial risks, there's also the debt to the owners that hasn't been converted to equity if we really need it.

Then you add in the huge uplift in commercial operations and we are in a hell of a place.

Proper forward planning from KLD and the board

Bang on mate.

KLD wants us playing in Europe.

He hasn’t tossed the future growth in the bin to stay up this year, not a chance.

They will have worked out financial / growth plans for every option and have plans accordingly.

We have had this conversation before, but KLD will know if he even gets this half right he is the custodian of a rocket ship that will back the club in numbers that will make people's eyes water

Let’s not forget he grew up around his dad running Marseille in Europe he’ll want to do that here I’d say

Aye mate.

I, and others, have mentioned it many times before.

There’s barely a more demanding, lunatic and partisan set of fans in the world than Marseille.

If you have dipped your toe in that madhouse and still got involved in another club, you have the bug and you aren’t ****ing about.

9 players scored 15 or more last season in PL.

2 played for Brentford.

If we have 3-4 on 7-8 we be going well.

If anyone does over 12 we be laughing.

Only 25 players hit double figures, and you would half that when you take out players where have ‘doubled up’ at same club.

You do not need a goal machine.

I agree with this too! I was making the ( possibly obvious ) point that if someone does get 15 goals then we will be ok.

Stato's might put me right but I think remember one year when we had Craig Russel as our top scorer with 4.

He’s already seeing it.

120k shirts sold already. Madness.

10k waiting list. Madness.

Half mile queues at club shop. Madness.

And this is while we still expect a relegation battle.

I have seen the increase in Sunderland shirts all over Shields and all over Sunderland last few weeks.

Even the little corner of our earth that is this forum. It never ends on here now, never.

Those of us that been in here for the last 15 years or so will know that’s not been the case, even when we were PL before the fall.

The club is growing, buzzing, thriving. For the first time in my life the city is too.

It’s a perfect marriage with an owner who sees it and this is just the first blowing of a Tsunami.

We aren’t Liverpool, United or Arsenal.

We Are Sunderland. We were always proud of it. We just needed to rest, reset and go again.
