Born in the maternity hospital in Corbridge, but parents lived in Shinny Row. At 6 moved to Corby, after a couple of years we were due to move to Oz, but after a road accident where my mum went head long through the car windscreen, that fell though and we came home to Washington.

off to Leeds as a student, then Oklahoma to do research, back to the UK to finish my postgrad at the University of Surey in Guildford.

Back home to Washington to start work in Newcastle, then moved to Newcastle to do a PGCE.

Moved to Whitley Bay when I got married, then to Durham, Newton le Willows (just north of Warrington), Swindon and then back to Washington 25 years ago.

Born Easington, moved to Melksham in Wiltshire for work when I was 22. Returned to the NE two years later to marry and settle in Washington. Been here since.

As the name suggests I live in an Old New Town, 75 years old, Peterlee to be precise. Couple of years down Stevenage before coming back. Then married and lived in Seaham for 5 years before moving back to Peterlee and I'm still here.
Not very adventurous but it does me.

Started being born in Shotton, on Deeside in N Wales, got stuck & mam was rushed over the border for an emergency C-section at Chester City Hospital.

Raised on Deeside until Poly at Sunderland - London - Sunderland - Chester and finally back to Deeside in the early 90's.

Born in South Shields. Parents had an upstairs flat in Hebburn which wasn't practical with a baby so they moved to Washington. Grew up there and my Mam still lives there. I moved out to Pelton but my house got burgled and I didn't feel safe there. Moved to Ouston and I've been here ever since.

Born in Wolverhampton but moved to Scotland at a young age. Grew up in Fife, mostly in a wee fishing village Crail (cracking sea views from the house). Lived in Edinburgh for about 16 years now, love it and I don't think I'd ever move anywhere else now.

Nan died so mam and dad decided to move away, ended up in essex till I was 23, then mansfield, Port Talbot, Frome and finally home 40 years to the month.
