Woah woah woah. Somebody said it was his appartment so I pointed out you shouldn't post anything that distinguishes where you live on social media. Especially if you're a relatively easy target who's easy to track like a professional footballer.

Speaking as somebody who's been burgled during a holiday and told by the police it may well have been because my Strava posts showed to the metre where I live and also that I was away from home, and having the most traumatic experience of my life due to it, all I wanted to do was share the importance of not giving away your home address or even vague location. But I appreciated being called demented for thinking so, thanks.

Criminals are very sophisticated nowadays. Its not just some blokes in balaclavas.

This really is not related to transfers but they are right about the Strava posts. There's been major problems with bodyguards for leaders recording their running routes on it and giving away 'secret' retreats and redacted home addresses. The most recent one was the Swedish PM. There were classified Russian bases a few years ago that were essentially mapped by guards doing laps of the perimeter and recording it there. Far more sophisticated organisations make the mistake so don't feel bad about it if you do.

Yeh this was all my point was. Trying to share my awful experience and the lesson I learnt from it.

The police told me you should never post your house on social media or give any distinguishable feature from it. A favourite of burglars nowadays is to look for holiday photos from people that are clearly still on holiday and then try to identify previous posts to see if there's any clues as to where they live. They then do scout outs to see if they can find that property and whether its still clearly vacant.

This is what the police think happened to me. I could have just got incredibly unlucky of course. The criminals were never caught so we couldn't find out. But we had to move house to be sure (and frankly for the PTSD)

Just because you can track down people’s information it doesn’t mean you have to …

… these days everyone seems to know everything about their ‘rights’, perhaps not quite so sure about their responsibilities.

Some things are best left with a touch of mystery and intrigue imo.

It’s like the subtle difference between asking a woman to put on stockings, for the evening, and discovering the fact by accident he has a cock. …

… sometimes knowing less is better.
My mind must be warped, that's where I thought your tale was heading <laugh> <laugh>

Not exactly what he said, was posted earlier he just references that winger, cb and strikers are different characteristics really but does say two or 3 options (positions) they will look at
I won’t lie i saw the tweet and got excited I haven’t even read it :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I didn’t realise this was at play with this signing. Saw plenty saying it was a steal for him like, but didn't realise there was a reason behind it and how true it was!

I've said before dont watch football outside of the lads so know **** all about other players, how good is this lad?

Someone has to convince me that about signing a striker!

Mayenda, new contract - surely assured minutes. Guiu, game time clause in his contract - surely assured minutes. Isidor - first choice striker for most of last season, surely going to play a part. I just don’t see the need for a fourth striker, given for the majority of the season they will be competing for one position.

Potentially Mayenda/Isidor covering the wings as well, but we’re also targeting another winger in addition to Talbi Roberts adingra Mundle.

(Not a negative post btw, strength in depth is hardly a bad thing, just don’t see the need for it atm)

Aye. Think I’d prefer us get an absolute bagsman of a winger.

I think the strength in depth was the message from RLB in that twitter quote a few posts above
