This is promising since Millar was much more about sheer pace, Belloumi beat full backs more with guile than speed so it probably wouldn't hamper him as much if he was a little bit slower after the injury.
It just so happens that our lovely Auntie Beeb have just posted an article about ACLs....'Now that's what I call ESP'..in the spirit of 'Now that's what I call music'
Can you still buy that $hite?

ACL injuries: Why are they so serious and what do they mean for the injured player? - BBC Sport

Ajayi a hamstring injury not traveling to Wrexham (but dont worry its only a Semi) HDM reporting its a minor injury,

I'm not sure it's an injury at all. SJ mentioned it yesterday in his interview but I interpreted it as him saying they wouldn't play him for three games in a week because of the risk of injuring his hamstring, rather than that he actually has injured it already. McCann used to do a similar thing with Alfie Jones in the early days before he became more robust.

and here we go..

jones and macca may not have been as good at their best
but they were 40 game season players

ajayi would be a prem player if he was fit, but he consistently cant do 20 games a season

its easy to get excited by new players, but in a league with 46 games, consistently fit players are worth a heck of a lot

2 would of been nice...

So…

Destan out for a few more weeks with an MCL injury, Millar and Belloumi still out until mid-late September with their ACL recoveries and Matazo out until late December with his ACL injury. Coyle and Ajayi now out with hamstring injuries. Am I missing anyone?

Also, I realised the other day that Millar, Belloumi and Matazo all tore their ACLs on their left knees.

West Brom fans said Ajayi is one of the best defenders in the league but has missed around half of the league games in the last four seasons.

Sheffield Wednesday fans also said Famewo is one of best defenders in the league but is always injured too.

On paper, they’re both an improvement on Jones and McLoughlin but it means little if they don’t actually play.
