1. Giles - Great getting forward, put decent crosses in, did his job at the back too.

2. Hughes - Cleared everything put at him, didn’t really have any involvement going forward really, but that’s not his job.

3. Ajayi - Defensive top 3 sums up the game really. Good debut, as long as he keeps fit, I can see him being Hughes’ partner at the back.

Perm any 3 from 4 of the back 4.... for different reasons they were all fantastic. What I love to see is the back slapping, hand slapping and covering for each other..

1. Ajayi what a steal.
2. Hughes a captains performance
3. Giles as he got forward more than Drameh.

An honourable mention for Ndala. Not what he wants to show im sure but did exactly what was asked of him...likely...

would have added Giles too but he had that one moment to remember when he almost missed a header from a cross which is his Achilles heel

Got all the first half and the last 20 + the extra year on my life lol…. If I’m allowed I’d say
1 Hughes
2 Ajayi
3 Giles
And as every one else has said a bit harsh on the others but oh my god if these back 4 stay fit the sky is the limit….
