City have a facility they use in the capital and regularly send potential new signings there to undergo a thorough medical check before the deal is completed, and that's the case with McBurnie. The 29-year-old forward is due at the MKM Stadium later on Tuesday to meet staff and go through the usual in-house club media protocols, including an interview and pictures, before an announcement is made.

I hope it's not the same place Jimmy Bullard went for his medical. Fulham fans predicted correctly how that was going to pan out.

"The Blades are said to have made contact over a potential deal but were dissuaded from taking it any further by Hull’s valuation of the player"

Nothing much to make of it IMO

they just sold ahmedzovic, so they certainly have money

theyll come in again, like a circling shark
will acun say no (i think theres no chance we sell him this summer)

Sheff Utd put off by the price, guessing it’s probably close to double what they got for “I’m a Hobbits”.
I suppose we could let them have the ex Sheff Wed CB for £7 million at a push if they’re desperate for one of our CB’s!

‘We’re interested in signing Hughes.’

‘£25 million.’

‘That’s ridiculous!’

‘You’re right. Since you’re Sheffield United, it’s now £35 million.’

I completely agree with you point and I've no idea why people are pulling you up on it.

Which ever way you look at it the Mason turned out to be a disastrous (record) transfer.

That implies no blame on the player, the club or anyone also. A freak accident which cost us our most expensive ever player after only 16 games.
It was no accident
That was deliberate

Reactions: Evington
To be fair to Selles a lot of people were saying at the time that he supposedly comes good in his second season after shoring up the defence. Biggest problem we had was that we didn't create any real chances in too many back to back games, let alone score many goals. We went too far with it. It did seem an odd decision to sack him after surviving but right now things do seem to be looking up and the new gaffer is off to a good start, albeit in games that don't matter.
