I’ve come to the conclusion that the written word is problematic. It is what it is though and if some of the things that are said on here were said face to face down the pub, people wouldn’t get nearly so up tight about comments it would just be bantered out which is more difficult on a forum. Hey ho.
Good point mate....it happens all the time with texting, for example. I often send texts to family or friends and think, hang on,that hasn't gone over quite right.... and I'll give them a call.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Why? I'm 'relaxed' about transfer affairs, primarily because a) it's not my money, b) I have no influence in the decision making process and c) I know the square root of **** all about most of the incoming players. What's not to be 'relaxed' about?

For the reasons you have mentioned above. Totally out of our hands so why do some let it bother them.

I’m not sure why saying we are desperate for quality signings at centre half means you are ****ting your pants about it.

given our business so far I’m relatively relaxed about it but doesn’t change the fact we are desperate in that area of the park

the club obviously feel it’s hugely important given the attempts to bring people in that position in.

Alese is already ruled out of the first 3 PL games. Unfortunately he’s an absolute sick note, 0 faith in him to be fit for even half of our 38 league games.

think that’s slightly harsh

is he not the one we rushed back for the Luton playoff game which he ultimately gave his everything at a cost of his physical health which led to another set back which was obviously gonna potentially happen but was deemed a worthy risk

additionally his follow up injury was just another freak occurrence

it’s like Huggins, he got back fit and was looking great and suffered another bad but random injury, I wouldn’t call them injury prone just unlucky

My mates dad plays walking football down at the beacon and said there was a lot of activity at the stadium yesterday - photographers etc. anyone know what that might be?

The lad has been very unlucky. But he is an absolute unit and such lads often get a lot of injuries in a sport as dynamic as football.
