I still think that the Ref looks at his wrist and blows that it crossed the line. Me and my boy just sat there stunned....
Yeah I hate when match going fans try to make others feel like they’re less of a fan if they don’t regularly go to games I’m a wheelchair user so I can’t fly over on my own have to convince someone to go with me so in the 8 years we’ve been away I’ve gotten to like three games but that doesn’t mean I also didn’t sit through the **** of Parkinson etc I just watched at home when everyone around me was saying why are you bothering just check the results Am I going to more games this year? Yes because everyone wants to go to premier games so I don’t have to rely on one person going I have multiple people wanting to go to games, which I knew would happen so I bought a season ticket for the first time since i turned 16 and my parents told me the price was too high for the amount we went, so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting tickets to games(took 3 days to get through to the ticket offices and it wasn’t even me that got through) I’m going to the same number of games in the first 3 as I did in 8 years I’m sure some would call me a fair weather supporter but it’s not always possible for people to get to games Rant over
Everyone supports the team in the best way they can mate, hope you have a great time when you come over match days will be next level this year, just been a lot of digs and point scoring on here lately and it’s getting tedious
To complicate matters I am going to be moving to Plymouth. I am up in Sunderland with a lass from Plymouth, from 16th, I did attempt to buy tickets for the West Ham game, but TBH having to go through the whole pantomime to get her a ticket, I just thought, I wont bother, obviously hopefully still watching it somewhere
Cheers mate I’ve been looking forward to it since Wembley. Yeah that sort of thing is a trigger for me so I agree. I don’t get fans trying to one up others it’s the same with the away fans that go all the time. At the end of the day we are all Sunderland fans whether you get to 38, 10, 1 or none it’s not a competition
I'm completely the opposite...a) I have no idea how much we have to spend, whether or not we're overspending, b) I have to accept other people's decisions without even having a clue about the criteria being applied or the discussion taking place, and c) I have to trust other people's judgement on incoming players, hoping they're exactly what we need ! I might add,d) I'm kept totally in the dark about all of it,apart from speculative, mostly incorrect comments from anyone and everyone on here and social media, until the club finally decide to let me know what's gone on! In short, things are happening that I care deeply about, and I don't have any say or influence in any of them! It's probably the only aspect of my life where this happens....I'm in my 70's,refreshing my computer every 5 minutes, hoping I'll see a post from an Italian fella I don't even know, including a "here we go" in his ramblings!. How did I ever get into this mess?! Relaxed..... what is it and how does it feel?!
I think that they'll sell him after that game, can't imagine they'll sanction it beforehand. They'll be hell on if they do and he plays. His former teammates will be desperate to take chunks out of him. Especially that d*** Guamaries
Zero commitment ffs. There’s a direct train to Newcastle that only takes 6 hours. You could make the game and still have time to do your ironing Sunday night before work
I’ve come to the conclusion that the written word is problematic. It is what it is though and if some of the things that are said on here were said face to face down the pub, people wouldn’t get nearly so up tight about comments it would just be bantered out which is more difficult on a forum. Hey ho.
Work?????? wash your mouth out! I will see if I can get from Plymouth to Sunderland on my old farts bus pass, may take a week or so
