It shouldn't matter if the IDF are withdrawn from Gaza or not, you either want to get aid to the kids or you don't. Sounds to me mate you just want to create a political advantage and I don't think I've even seen anyone mention the Hamas civil police, so when you say people don't like to heat it, who we talking about here?

A problem exists, famine, get on with it and just drive the trucks or get someone who will drive the trucks, Palestinian men, all I'm seeing is excuses. Just ****ing do it.

I want the aid to get in. And it has to be a priority now.

That's it mate, just get on with it. If certain people don't want to drive the trucks, find someone who does, whoever they might be, unless the world is saying we all don't care about the kids. Plenty of Palestinian marchers in this country who must be capable of driving trucks. I've never driven a truck that size, but I'd give it a damn good go...no im not doing it lol

Anyway, we have some movement on the not606 peace deal now too with Windy agreeing that a Palestinian state should be held accountable.

We just need Saf to ditch his genocidal ‘let the world turn the other way whilst Israel quietly wipe them out’ stance and we can consider him for a role in this new govt of peace.

not sure about Sucky though, I think he’s a lost cause.

This is gonna **** no end with CK’s league <laugh>

I vote for Netanyahu, Smotrich and Ben Givr to drive the first trucks in <whistle>

in all seriousness though mate, I think once the logistics of getting the UN aid systems set up again are in place and aid is being delivered at pace and in the quantities needed (something like 500 trucks per day) then a lot of the immediate needs that are creating this desperation will begin to subside.

Like you say though. It just needs to get going.

I should clarify I’d rather the disgusting cockroaches were driven into the sea along with their Western supporters but this is unlikely and my comments related to a hypothetical Palestinian state which would inevitably be treated with kid gloves no matter what it did.

Glad you’re onside mate <diva>

Trump has ‘no view’ on Palestinian statehood

I would imagine that Starmer and co are quietly relieved by that, because given Trump’s outlandish plan to bulldoze Gaza, rebuild it as the Mediterranean riviera and then hand it over to Israel…that’s quite an about turn

Growing support for a unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood will be the real litmus test for Hamas and will reveal their true intentions.

Do they care more about Palestinians, or killing Jews?

It is beyond question that they can have no role whatsoever moving forward in the governing the people they claim to represent. So will they step aside and allow other more responsible and less destructive parties step up to the role?

So after the announcement

The next sentence you get the excuses

The sentence after that is just an out and out lie

Followed by we are going to blame Starmer and the EU if it goes tits up

Followed in the final sentence what he really thinks.

I think there's a distinction to be made here between the Al-Qassam brigade and Hamas as a civil administrative body. The former have said that they will disarm and disband if there is a Palestinian state established, claiming that they only exist as a resistance force against Israeli occupation.

As for the civil administrative part of Hamas as a political organisation, in pragmatic terms most of the people who work for them are (or were) engaged in the daily business of running the territory, so roads, schools, hospitals, water, electricity, agriculture, housing... the day to day nuts and bolts government. So what happens to those people, are they just made unemployed or do they become part of a wider PA ?

Whatever happens I think the name Hamas has to go. It's done, finished. I think if it is to be the PA running Gaza and the West Bank, then they will need support from Eqypt, Jordan, Qatar and indeed Israel, who themselves have to be held accountable to the same conditions that any new Palestinian Govt would be, in terms of a genuine desire to live peacefully alongside each other.

There's going to be bumps in the road of course, there's so much to unpick. But skirmishes and isolated incidents of violence on both sides shouldn't be allowed to derail what should be both countries being allowed to determine their own affairs alongside each other.

In short, i don't trust anything the Americans or Trump say.

Trump blows hot and cold, so you never really know what he's going to come out with next.

A few months ago he was saying he was ready to level Gaza, build a Riviera and hand it over to Israel

And now he's saying he doesn't really have a view on Palestinian Statehood.

He could just as easily come out in support of Starmer, Macron and co next and say that Netanyahu needs to accept a ceasefire and work towards a two state solution, or he might try and press ahead with his idea of forcibly removing 2.2m people into Lebanon and Egypt and build another Trump towers in Khan Younis.

So my water sports business now isn’t happening?

I don't think he blows hot and cold, he knows exactly what he wants and what he's doing, but just likes to play games with everyone. There are elements of truth in what he says, you just need to know which bits to recognise.

The objective is to always ensure everyone knows you made all the correct decisions, and make statements in such a way that people remember that.

If he wants to level Gaza for it to be a resort, that is exactly in his head what he wants to do, anything else is a lie, merely because another path has now been added to the original problem (Famine) and he needs to cover his back.

He only mentions Starmer and the EU in certain contexts, that's when you know he's settting them up to take the blame, and he will always be able to point to where he said so as well.

Much like deadlines he sets, they are deflection tactics. Always be able to cover one deflection with another in case anything goes tits up, then he will use it to whitewash any headlines that spotlight in the media.

I don't know if he's any good at chess, but see it like a game of that, and if all else fails start a war.

Waiting for Benny the Butcher's presser on this.

Pretty sure you could have a game of Benny Bingo with this.

Here's my tips for a full house.

*Anti-Semitic
*Reward for terror
*Dangerous precedent
*Emboldens Hamas
*Won't bring the hostages home
*Misguided
*Endangers Israel's security
*We've already had a Palestinian state in Gaza and it failed

Bonus line

*Piskie ain't getting his water park

I'm probably going to have to start you off in a junior position in my new not606 for peace party on the back of that mate.

I dunno mate.

It was only a few months ago he was besties with Putin, and now it looks like he's going to do a 180 on that and give Ukraine a **** ton of weapons.

I think Trump is a person who can be easily swayed by personalities, which is why I think Starmer is doing a good job of keeping him onside.

He could just as easily fall out with Netanyahu if he thinks he's standing in the way of a ceasefire.

Although I take your point about him covering his back now there's a famine, so he has to be seen to be addressing that.
