The Admiral looks like a dump when it's packed to the rafters on a Saturday home game day..Any other day it just looks like a----'Wetherspoons' and sells ale at a working man's price. Edit...I was in the one on George Square yesterday(Counting house, old bank, beautiful interior architecture) ,with the Mrs and we went outside to sit. This woman(probably in her 40's was flitting and flirting between 2 tables either side of us). She didn't know these eejits(and they were) from Adam but ****ed off to the toilets with one of them for a quick ****!!!! Obviously has a high opinion of herself the tart...
I know a few going tonight,a couple post on here. Personal opinion,it's a silly day and time to be playing this particular game and I think the crowd will reflect that view.
Whitby's great (as are the seaside villages around it), Cromer's pretty nice and there's plenty of nice seaside towns on the south coast.
Rangers entertained Boro on Saturday(Boro brought 7,000 up). I don't think it would be in the public interest to bring either to Hull...
Whitby is going upmarket , Royal Crescent up near the spa having new paintings look Victorian Georgian , some smart modern houses on the cliff , Pizza restaurant really nice and a good number of smart bars / care bistro places - no everyone’s cup if tea ( chuckle) but less trashy seaside stuff - prices for everything going up to match .
Yeah, there’s plenty of nice ones around the country, but by and large they’re mostly **** holes. You would expect seaside towns and villages to be some of the more popular and desirable places to live but they tend to be run down more often than not.
its all the fault of the cheap aeroplane thats done it long gone are the days of the sexy victorian lady in her corset straddling along a luxurious bridlington spa
Oh by the way get to Saltburn On Sea old fashioned clean almost back in time - real surprise because you can see Bellingham and Boro from it !!
Scarborough is still marvelous It does have the tacky amusements but as a kid you love them don’t you And the owners are so entrenched within the council they won’t ever be moved. Some good boozers if you want them Great walks all around there
It’s because they have lots of accommodation that’s cheap and so the scum get moved there The overflow from Liverpool and Manchester ruined Blackpool They place a lot of people from full Sutton prison in brid as they can get them a flat fairly easily Same as the wessies who come from the ****holes of leeds and Sheffield They come to withernsea etc in a caravan and think it’s paradise and move there Bringing all their problems with them Ruins the schools cos the kids are off the scale little twats
Staying just outside Alnmouth at the moment. Was in Amble this morning and off to Seahouses tonight for boat trip to Holy Island. Bliss up here
