I said when we made the first signing that we've started a process that can't be stopped.

It's pointless spending millions on Diarra or Sadiki then stopping and going down ...

... once you've committed that money there's no option but to back it with more.

Reckon we will do a proper announcement video for him or just the same style as the other signings with the picture and graphic?

Leagues are properly stratifying, only chance clubs have of making the jump up is spending millions to compete with teams that have benches full of international starters. The championship is a very exciting league however its a financial black hole with the majority of the clubs closer to folding than promotion.

Always feel for lads like that.

Bolton 6-0 was our rock bottom so Cardiff have a bit of life yet.

Flippin Marvelous Bloody Tremendous News Man.

    As an aside:

Bought the grandsons the Playoff Final away strip top (both 1yr old in October) - they only had 4-5 yr olds left - so - plenty of time to iniate the indoctrination (stoked by their fathers) - they'll be getting a CD disc of the playoffs when they reach the magic age - I just have to stick around for a few years :)

Not sure how long Wrexham can keep this up. Saying that they were paying players 5 grand a week in the national league while other players had to hope their day off work landed on a match day.

You see the shots of the ‘grand opening’ of their club shop?

    Took less than £300.

They are so disengaged their fans, real shame cos another great club and a good set of fans when they aren’t spitting and hoying stuff at kids.

It really demonstrates how quickly things can change.

On Sunday people were saying Bayer and Sunderland were miles away from a deal.

Some were saying it was dead.

A day later and the deal is done, the player is on his way and those going to Hull will be thinking about whether he'll turn out.

He's fit and played for Leverkusen, at the weekend, so it could happen depending on permits <laugh>

They can go a long way further.

The owners are wedged but the list of additional investors they have access to is crazy, they aren’t slowing down anytime soon.

They also gain from moving from league 1 rules to championship financial rules.

Add to that they sponsorship deals and they can spend a fair lump
