EFL won’t let us pay silly wages given they vetoed McBurnie. Wish they’d done this 3 years ago…
First of all Destan is Turkish, so he had to be paid in TRY (TL), not in Euros. Secondly he came from a small club, so they didn't need to overpay.

- 2022/23 futbol sezonu için 2.750.000.-TL garanti ücret,
- 2023/24 futbol sezonu için 3.000.000.-TL garanti ücret,
- 2024/25 futbol sezonu için 3.250.000.-TL garanti ücret,
- 2025/26 futbol sezonu için 3.500.000.-TL garanti ücret.
These are net numbers btw, so probably he earns gross 150K euros, 130K gbp something like that.

Yep trust is utterly broken. I just don’t see him going until debt starts to be repaid… only way that happens is through promotion or building a self sustainable model so he doesn’t have to put money in and if he does it’s a bonus

Frigan would be a great signing but can’t turn your nose up at either imo, more risk associated with the former.
