I still believe it’s not a cost cutting exercise. The players going where probably the ones the ones told to go last March, so he could make room for his new signings. I still believe he thinks we will win the appeal and go for. Just an alternative view and looking at it from The madness of Acuns brain.
What I don't understand is if we are so keen on him and the efl are being Bell ends why don't we just go old school and use properties and off shores to sort him out? Acun is made for that type of deal. We can sign him on 2k a week but over the length of the contract buy up half of Hessle Road for him as well as slip him 6 x holiday homes in Turkey. There is always a way around stuff.
Yes,why not.... A good supply of brown envelopes might help...Assuming he's paid the stationery company?
I've got a feeling all our deals are being sent to the EFL for scrutiny and financial compliance, so that is delaying the signings. I think Baz had said City hoped to have the CB signing done by mid week and hopefully available for the Stockport game. So hopefully, we may hear something tomorrow or Thursday. You can see the word 'hopefully' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.
Yeah, I can't the Frigan deal going ahead, unless a lot of brown envelopes are passed to the EFL scrutiny panel members.
Just the kind of free-scoring striker we needed, he could have done a job for us ... 5 goals in 34 appearances for Boavista last season.
