If I never come on here again, it's possible to die of boredom!

My word it is! Diegetic sound is incredibly interesting you know.

Nice <laugh>. I'm doing 3000 on the effect of the flaneur, or flaneuse, in American Literature, most notably Edgar Allan Poe's work.

    Woo.

That 5 posts per page option really is pointless, if anyone uses that they probably have whole pages filled with comments from just Hoadie.

If I had the choice, I'd probably choose yours over mine <laugh>

Really not worth the effort with 5 per page

Yours is shorter, I'd choose yours <laugh>

I say 3000, I mean 2700. 10% either way <diva> And even then I'll probably struggle to meet that too.

<laugh> true. fair enough. I'll stick to mine then <laugh>

Plus, I've got longer to do it. <laugh> Have many words (if any) you got so far?

I'm currently on, somewhere around 500 last time I checked, 2000 more to go. Sigh.

<laugh> Good going still. At least you've started. I've not thought about it yet. Also, I just guessed that what I said is actually what I'm doing. I could be wrong <laugh>

The 500 odd words were actually started in lesson weeks ago <laugh> Nice going if you hand in an essay on something completely wrong <laugh> Do you need to use Harvard Referencing System?

That's just the type of guy I am, I'm an essay rebel <monster> I'll write what I wanna write!
Yeah we use that. They're incredibly strict about it too. I think I do it differently each time <laugh>

I find it pointless and messy. Why write the source, page number and author in the middle of a damn essay when you can just bookmark it and put it in the bibliography and keep the flow of the essay going?! <grr>

You only put the author and year in the body of the essay, the long bit goes in the bibliography

Ahh, we just footnote it and then never bother with bibliographies!

...And, just as I'm writing this, I realise that YES I do bother with bibliographies, I just forgot to put one in my last essay <doh> Tits..

    Never mind eh <laugh>
