The HDM should name them then. They're quick to do it when they have evidence of other stuff.

Don't get the SMC mixed up with Hull City FC and tell me who possibly could be a local supplier to the football club? Acun owns the kit company. Energy drinks will be free. Nutrition will be free or at worst part sponsored and part discounted direct from brand. They train in their own facility and have their own medical staff. Potentially they pay Nuffield or other private medical for operations but not a 'local supllier'.

Who are we talking here?

Nisa.

They probably don't want to be publicly named, but given Baz has spoken to the owner and published that there are, Its reasonable to think it's more likely than not.

I don't need to be. But if the HDM are wrong then they risk needing a good one.

But then it's not just HDM, it's the telegraph, BBC and Keiran Maguire as well.
Are you talking about the below from James Smailes? Because that says nothing about them owing money to local suppliers, it simply reports on what could easily be a made up 'concerns' about the payment of goods. As I asked earlier, what local supplier would you say could be supplying goods to Hull City AFC? Not the SMC which is totally separate in this.

"However, while that may be the case, the Barry payment is understood to in many ways be the final straw, with Hull Live aware of growing concerns from suppliers both locally and nationally regarding the finances of the club and payment for goods."

There are clearly no local suppliers waiting for money. Its just more guff lapped up by the likes of Kalman to spread their vitriol and turn the fan base against the club.
I'm glad Acun has heard it and is ready to go to battle with them via the media next week.

Not the club, no. The owner, yes.

Unlike you, I don’t see them as one and the same.

"There is precedent for appeals to be successful which could give hope to suffering Tigers fans, who have been growing increasingly concerned about the club’s finances in recent months, with local suppliers failing to be paid and threatening to pull their services, while there have been issues with other transfer payments and the payment of the players' wages on time."

Joint article by Barry Cooper and James Smailes.

Interesting. Wonder if Baz will clarify if its the club or the SMC as it would be pretty dumb not to be using the SMC to offset tons of running costs some clubs can't.

on the podcast it was mentioned as catering & cleaning contractor but didn’t say if it was smc or city. Would the EFL differentiate between the 2 entities??

Birmingham are spending an absolute fortune
Thats another 10m striker theyve just signed

Kyogo

The club would be mad not to be offsetting those costs as well as game day costs and to the SMC.

Why does it matter in this context if it's the SMC or Hull City though? Everyone knows they're owned by the same person and are essentially interchangeable, the reputational damage is the same either way.

What if the SMC debts were accrued by Hull FC, SMC waiting for them to pay so they can then pay the local businesses, in this senario, what has it got to do with City?
