We live on a main road but miles from any McDonalds or KFC. Yet it feels like almost every evening dog walk I see something thrown from a car window on the road from one of these places. People really are disgusting pigs.
That makes even less sense than normal litter. You've taken the time to pick up the crap, bins are everywhere, just carry it for 10 mins if need be and put in a bin.
The council says that the annual cost of clearing litter from the streets in the East Riding is a staggering £4.36m. It's hoped that this trial will encourage motorists to take their rubbish home and discard of it responsibly.

Youth clubs, community hubs for the elderly, creating more allotments etc.
It's very simplistic and perhaps out of touch with reality but every action has a consequence and if nobody did dumb things like throw litter on the ground or damage property needlessly resource could be spent elsewhere.

A month or so back, a pair of blokes pulled up and emptied the contents of their van outside my house.
There was loads of it, fast food boxes, drink cans, even an empty vodka bottle.
Unfortunately for them, there was a camera across the road that recorded it and they were in a van with their employers name on it.
The employer now has the video.

its not even uncommon for people to do it in their work vans, with the van plastered with phone number and employers.. sometimes its their own company

makes it worse is i am working in Grimsby ( bad enough) cant leave my windows open as its a fish factory and there about 100 seagulls milling about, they will claim the car and ill have to walk home.

The highways agency, **** wits who think they are some sort of police with their phony look alike vehicles, uniforms including epauletts.
Talking about tail gating and their examples shown on TV are on a 4 lane motorway where the first 3 lanes are occupied by trucks crawling past each other causing a hold up as all the faster travelling cars only have 1 lane to use. They fail to even comment on this and only focus on the vehicles that are too close to the one in front.

Truck drivers are penalised for inefficient driving and excess fuel usage based on the ones I know . They try to maintain an efficient speed so they happily sit in lanes at a set speed . Worst place is the two lane M18 from the M180 turn off through to the A1 it’s always a busy crammed section .

Yes the lorries that are restricted to 56mph but when one is loaded it may not be able to maintain that speed uphill, an empty lorry could maintain 56 which is why they are overtaking the slower one.
Then they get to the downhill bit where the empty one can be held at 56 whereas the loaded one gets a push from the weight so attempts to regain his place and crawls past.
Bunch of ****s who should be restricted to lane 1 on 2 and 3 lane roads, lanes 1 and 2 on a 4 lane motorway.
There's too many ****wits donning a uniform/hi vis thinking they have policing powers, full stop.
