I think we can safely say Selles signings aided his dismissal... 'the 10 worst signings since being t HC, 5/6 have been coaches decisions'.
The Joseph signing is enough to get anyone sacked. I do think head coaches will have a good knowledge of some players but clubs have different systems for recruitment. Man City signed Cherki without Guardiola’s input.
Fair play to any city fans who have gone down there to ask questions; shows how much they care about the club.
I wonder if they'll include the dodgy stick comment. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Who did Selles sign that was really poor? Joseph has struggled so far but I didn’t think they were that bad otherwise.
We don't really know who was responsible for signing who, to be fair, but under Selles we signed Egan, Crooks, Matazo, Amrabat and Joseph, plus Gelhardt, Barry and Lincoln on loan. I definitely got the impression that Acun thought we should have been playing Amrabat more, as he mentioned him "only" playing in a few games.
I see. That’s quite a good list of signings imo taking out Joseph. Didn’t rate Lincoln but he definitely wasn’t a Selles signing.
Here for ever... Overall not the train crash I feared, it will be picked disceted and regurgitated through the season, much is lost in (lack of) translation and not helped by folk not asking short succinct questions. Let's see what happens next...
Dull as ditch water. The usual suspects hogging the mic, 'Rob Milner, Hedon', Pat Ellis Senior Tigers etc, 'Someone else, on the board of the disability tigers, 'I've been a passholder for 40,50, 60 years' etc etc etc, the usual ( but a different face) comparing with the usual embarresing comments, the piss poor attempt at a club anthem at the end, the usual piss poor sound that nobody thought to rectify. Fair play for Acun for fronting up, but he must walk away tonight thinking, 'WTF do I bother?' Not a good reflection of the club and about time these Q@A sessions were ditched......................because we don't do them very well.
