Only caught the last 10 or so... like what the manager had to say and how he said it...inetersting he thought we were good last October November... (enough said) before being crippled with injuries..

Like the idea we now have a defensive coach and an attacking coach....

Who is it that Crooks has been speaking to to get them here...?

interesting that he said there are 2 assistants/coaches, one for defence and one for attack. I wonder how common that is, or if we've done that before.

I think its a more long term view in that players with great potential will choose as a stepping stone if we have a reputation of facilitating onward growth for them.

Even pre acun

Any players with potential surely sees us as a great club to be at
Bowen
Maguire
Robertson

To name a few

Some interesting stuff in there as well as some fairly worthless cliché.

Sergei talks a big game. He has to back that up. The first thing I was looking for was is he another Shota where he gives waffling answers that leave you wondering how this guy can coach players, or another Walter where he gets weirdly defensive about things he doesn't understand that are different from his country. There was a bit of both at times. His inability to say anything good about last season's team was weird. I know people will love that in some sort of cathartic way but it was weird and it was negative about the players who are here. It would've been easy to give a stock positive answer that acknowledges the good he's inherited. Remember this was a team that achieved mid table results in the second half of the season to rescue us from a really **** situation. If he's going to better that then great but it won't be easy.

What did he say exactly?

or being put where he can add value?
Sounds like he's gone back to the role.he was in before stepping up to the first team when Shota was sacked. More or less anyway.
Which to be fair he might actually want. He's not been very good as a caretaker when he's had the opportunity, let's face it.
I thought he started life as 1st team defensive coach, then somebody posted he was the link between the U21's and the 1st team, which is maybe what they're calling him now. It's never been clear, to me at least, what he was meant to be doing. I wish him well but I do wonder...

I havent listened but its the same as any manager
Different style of platitudes

Its all new and exciting right now
But lets see if we get results

So he was supposed to waffle and talk BS?!? There really weren't many positives to pull from last season, especially once we'd lost Millar n Belloumi and then Matazo later. He could have put Pandur on a pedestal I guess but that wouldn't be sensible. His answer was bang on when he said let's look forward now

To be fair, they've got to come out positively and talk the talk.If they didn't we'd all be screaming blue murder...

Won't be long until we see the squad for this coming season and we'll see if we can walk the walk.

Not sure how he's managed to tally that lot up to £60 million but God loves a trier:emoticon-0148-yes:

How can you say that if u haven't listened?!?
It really wasn't the same as the last 4 at least. Refreshingly straightforward and measured. No BS. No special unique formula. Just what we need. Good start from him .. but yes, only words atm

becasue every single manager at every single club says the same thing with nuances here and there
its the 50th time we have a new manager in the last few seasons

i dont get excited by talk

but by action:emoticon-0130-devil
