Apparently it started from a discarded cig outside that caught the canopy. Not sure if that’s true but I’ve heard the same from two different people
I hear that my mate Nozzer was in there Friday night..I immediately thought of a trapped turd in the Gents, letting off fumes, then a spark, followed by a boom. It looked as if it started near to the bogs, but your explanation sounds more plausible. However, someone said it started at about 4am....No doubt plod (if they can be arsed) will get on the case.

But realistically, an extra twenty quid on each adult membership will raise less than 500k. I understand not wanting to haggle for players who want to leave, and risk upsetting them if the other team pulls out, but a bit of haggling could easily equal a few hundred grand on a few transfers. Realistically, how much might we have got for Pedro?

I think its a more long term view in that players with great potential will choose as a stepping stone if we have a reputation of facilitating onward growth for them.
