    ... and some interesting acts.

Whatever it is that you like, live music is a wonderful thing.

Indeed it is. Everyone has their thing - mine, despite my advancing years, is to seek out new music so at a festival I usually like the smaller stages. Never been to Glastonbury though. Doubt I will now - it’s got soooo big!

It'll be fun seeing how Kneecap are received and whether the BBC feature them.

Neil Young should be good even though he's slightly crackers and Wolf Alice is always class.

Olivia Rodrigo will put on a big show but she's not my kind of thing.

Rod Stewart is already getting on my nerves, remains to be seen if he just does his 'stage show' which is too 'Las Vegas' for my liking.

Pulp could sneak on though, always good to see them.

    Love watching Glastonbury.
There's always bands/acts that i enjoy watching that maybe aren't what I would normally listen to. Wet Leg a case in point....thought they were bloody great.

I'll hoy up a few of the main stages line ups, but here's a link to the whole lot...way too many to post on here.

Last year seemed a bit flat. Looking forward to it though. Thanks for posting schedule.
Anything on before Friday? Believe people turning up from Thursday?

Have a look on the link above mate, scroll down to "Silver Hayes", then select each stage to see the line up for that particular stage...they all have stuff on from Thursday.

Edit. Dunno if there's any tv coverage of it though.
BBC have cracking coverage from Friday to Sunday, especially on the red button.

Been 7 times in my life and it's one of my favourite places in the world.

That said, the line up is the weakest it's ever been this year. Will still pick the off act and watch over the weekend.

Hope the weather stays dry for everyone! Think it was 2007 when it was an absolute joke down there.

I used to work an IT project for Clark’s shoes. Their head office is in a tiny town called Street. It’s about 3 miles from glasto. The whole BBC radio team would take over a small pub/hotel for the week of the festival and leave on the Sunday. I stayed at this place regularly and checked in the day after. This was back when Chris Moyles was at the height of his popularity.

I go to my room and on the bedside table is a hand written list of names and telephone numbers. A who’s who of Glastonbury. BBC DJ’s, producers, artists etc. include Moyles, his team, the likes of Coldplays Chris Martin.
I rang the first name which was ‘Comedy Dave’, left a VM to say I had this list, does it need returning/destroying. Didn’t get a response.

like the muppet that I am, I destroyed it. Wish I’d at least taken a photo.
Oh, and Rod Stewart - had the displeasure of seeing him at Gateshead stadium 1991. Tedious and that was with a free ticket, still felt I’d been ripped off

Have to say I love a festival, used to get to a bunch of them every year.

That said, personally think this lineup for Glasto is a bit **** this year.

Will still be watching bits of course.

My dream line up wouldn't be at Glastonbury, it would need to be at Castle Donnington....Monsters Of Rock.

    Black Sabbath
    Iron Maiden
    Scorpions
    AC/DC
    Motörhead

Will pick and chose what I watch. Enjoyable as always I suspect. BBC nail their coverage.

Nile Rodgers and Chic probably most looking forward to.

Grooverider bit of a throwback and hopefully worth a listen still.

Prodigy will explode the stage probably.

Would like to see Rod put on a show. Have my doubts though.
