It's not an issue if you grow up drinking it, I don't think. If anything, I find softer water in other places a bit weird because it's not what I'm used to.
I did grow up drinking it in Hull and Driffield(let's face it,there was very little else on offer in the 60's).I then moved on to drinking it up here.I don't drink copious amounts of the stuff but I can't drink it from the tap anymore as it stinks of chemicals to me and has done for 5 years or so.If I'm desperate and don't have bottled water, I'll take it but very rarely.

When I'm in Hull I wouldn't touch it at all..It doesn't taste nice to me anyway.

Couple of lads I sometimes meet in there before City games use it, and to be fair when it is rammed like it is on a Matchday it is actually much better. Your Guinness arrives to a table (or nearby table) without having to wrestle at the bar. I would not use it in normal conditions though, part of the appeal of going to the bar is being able to check the condition of the bar staffs fingernails and ensure they are not spitting in your pint.
Personally I go to the bar to check out the barmaid’s knockers.

To live a long and healthy life it is wise to abstain from women, beer and tobacco.
You've abstain from 2 if them and as I remember you where / are an absolute legend in the lady front judging from your conquests you told us about over the years .

People who don't know their own ****ing address.

I've had four orders returned to the warehouse undelivered this week, two because they forgot to put their house number, one because a bloke in Ireland entered his country as Iceland and one because someone in the UK put their country as Spain (you don't even need to to put a country if you're in the UK, it defaults to the UK).

I pay to send it, then I have to pay to get it back, then I have to pay to send it again.

The ****s them.

Pretty sure you’re allowed to barge them off to the side in that case
A tosspot tried that with me earlier today, Sutton Road/Leads Road junction, inside lane left turn only, outside lane ahead or right turn. I was in the ahead lane at the front of the queue, lights changed to green and a Transit in the left turn lane decided to go straight ahead. Taking the advice of Ashley Neal, I let him go in front and made it a non-event with no use of the horn. Road rage is pointless, FACT. :emoticon-0138-think
