Al-Udeid is a massive airbase. It is though also one of the best protected US facilities across the Middle East. And last week it was largely emptied out of unessential personnel.

I know you're not "new" here per se, I meant this specific thread. Don't recall seeing much of you on here over the past few years?

Also I hate to possibly terrify you, but among Israelis I'm considered centre-left due to my political views (which you have rather lazily assumed without actually asking).

As an aside, I was against your ban from the Spurs board and PM'd the mod responsible about it. I believe you and I share a common disdain for that particular mod, who now has me on ignore.

Al Jazeera reports Qatar air defences doing their job intercepting attack on US base so far. No casualties.

I’ve made a few comments here and there but mainly just read the thread

I appreciate that, I still believe he was itching to ban and that comment gave him the perfect chance.

I didn’t know you had issues with him too

Me and PNP don't get on but that's no surprise, I generally keep off the club boards, so like a self imposed ban.

I use to get on alright with Spurf, but then he went all SNP with me and @Welshie <laugh> I remember having to try and convince him that Welshie don't live in the UK, he wouldn't have it.

I think CK is on like his third account. I don't know who use to keep banning him, don't think it was me, but maybe he remembers differently.

CK is a bit crafty though, because he drops me menshies and then I end up get embroiled in another fight. He knows how to play the game. I have to stop and think sometimes when tagging on to his comments...
