So what was his conclusion? Is the oracle happy with this appointment, disappointed or sitting on the fence? It’s rather long…….

I read the bit about how the club is run on a European model with a coach rather than a manager. I like that. I also recall Clive saying some time ago that the perspective on Cifuentes seems split on age grounds …..the older fans blame Nourry the younger ones see more Cifuentes at fault. For once in my life I’m with the yoof on this.

Anyway he’s gone now so let’s move on, understand that we don’t have old school English ‘managers’ deciding on everything and adding to their income via brown envelopes any more, and welcome Julien!
