Missing sitters is far from his biggest issue, he gets in good positions to miss them and that’s more of a positive than a negative IMO.

The biggest problem with Slater is 99% of the time you forget he’s on the pitch.

I think a lot should depend on the new coaches views and vision,or are players already being touted before he even arrives?

Let's be honest, there is some dead wood at the Club. There are also players who want out and players that the owner wants out due to wages(we've also got players who the owner can make a 'profit' on)?

This could end up a pretty big turnover and lead to even more unsettlement going into a New Season when we've just narrowly avoided the drop...It's time the Club settled down from the top, started to establish a long term squad/vision and finally gave the supporters a bit of decent football to watch and perhaps give them a glimmer of hope.

We've had 3 years of this nonsense and got absolutely nowhere.

Surely the Owner isn't so blinkered that he can't see this constant upheaval is detrimental to this whole set up...

I don't expect any different mate
This is how the Turks roll

It's just a shame he can't score the chances he gets. That's his biggest let down. I suppose its down to whether the club sees him in a different role to what he thinks he should have
I agree about the number of goals he scores. I see him as box to box player but he needs to put away more chances. He missed some shockers this season and I wonder if it affected his confidence. Still a good squad player imo, let's not forget he was player of the season a couple of years ago.
Harsh giving him grief for not scoring goals, he never has been a goalscorer. I know he missed 2 good chances season just gone but that's just tough, not enough to write him off over.

Two? He missed like 6 sitters in a couple of months.

It has been learned that Championship team Hull City will sit down with Beşiktaş management in the coming days and submit their official offer for Semih Kılıçsoy. (Takvim)

I think it was about three, and then like with any trend of that nature once it gets noticed people can't wait to add extra ones to the list, so chances from further and further out start counting as sitters to add to the list.

It's easy to forget that he has at other times been a very good finisher. He's not afraid to just smash one high into the net where a lot of players bottle it and give it a little tap that gets saved. That spell of sitters last season were all in relatively quick succession around the early winter period, he looked less confident and at least one of them was a result of him not smashing it when he should've done (and previously would've done as I mentioned). I can't recall him having many chances more recently (the team stopped creating altogether really) but hopefully when he next gets a good chance in the area he'll be more like the finisher he used to be than the one he was around November time last year.

Liam Delap is now a Chelsea player.

Look forward to seeing him link up with Palmer. Good practice for the World Cup. Can see the attraction of Chelsea and the London enviroment. Who would not want to live in London or surroundings when you are on a salary like he will be. Best of luck Liam.
