Until everyone is treated equally, no one is treated equally.

I'm afraid that when the basic hostage negotiations take place, which I have spoken of before, which result in a ceasefire, that until hostages are treated as one for one, the value to equality is underminded, by the very people demanding it but still openly accepting inequality. Read that from whatever side of the coin you like.

I think a few of us said as much during the very first ceasefire.

What type of message does it send when in the eyes of everyone 1 Israeli = several hundred Palestinians

The obvious elephant in the room is that Israel continues to 'arrest' and detain (often without charges) many more Palestinians than Hamas has hostages... you can be arrested in the West Bank as a 'security' risk for objecting to being forced out of your home or off your land to make way for illegal settlements and settlers ... the vast majority of Palestinians in Israeli jails are not from Gaza...

Leicester City? ... the Baby Squad?

Thankfully, not every Jewish person is like you and not every Palestinian favours Hamas or endless war with Israel ... whilst that remains the case there is plenty of reason for optimism and thinking that the cycle of death and destruction can end ... brave leaders needed... and a two state solution <ok>

19 months of being put in your place after dancing on the streets and spitting on raped hostages will do that.

It's not an elephant in the room for me.

Hostage negotiations should always be one for one. If someone wants to fill their prisons up along with the logistics of keeping them, then you are just creating yourself an expensive problem. If you can afford to release 10 hostages for 1 hostage, then clearly the people you put inside in the first place, shouldn't be there and should be released naturally. If you are locking them up because they are murdering terrorists, again you shouldn't be releasing 10 for 1.

I'm applying this to all situations involving hostages, not just the Israel v Hamas war.

Just another ordinary day for the IDF .....

Hospital director says 24 killed by Israeli fire while waiting for aid in Rafah

  • A hospital director in the south of Gaza says 24 people have been killed and dozens injured by Israeli fire near an aid distribution centre in Rafah
  • He says they have all been transported to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, most with gunshot injuries
  • Gaza's Civil Defense Agency says that the majority of those killed or injured were hit by fire from tanks, helicopters and quadcopter drones
  • In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says it fired shots after identifying "suspects" near an aid point
  • It says it is aware of reports of casualties and is looking into the details of the incident
  • Israel denied shooting Palestinians in a similar incident on Sunday, which the Hamas-run health ministry says killed 31 people and injured nearly 200

What’s happening in Sudan is worse than what’s happening between Hamas and Israel. Way more deaths. Why are the outraged not equally outraged, at this?

What’s the difference <whistle>

Does this sound familiar? Don’t remember anyone being constantly outraged about this.

Ethiopia’s forgotten war is the deadliest of the 21st century, with around 600,000 civilian deaths

Estimates by European institutions and academics say over half a million non-combatants have died during the Tigray conflict as a result of a government blockade that kept out humanitarian aid

The civil war in Ethiopia has resulted in the death of some 600,000 civilians, a staggering estimate for a conflict that has lasted only two years and has been focused on a single region, Tigray, of around six million inhabitants. However, in the absence of official counts, the calculations of the European Union, international organizations and experts concur on a devastating mortality rate in a war the Ethiopian government has deliberately tried to shield from international public opinion. The first to put these figures on the table was Jan Nyssen, professor emeritus of geography at the University of Ghent in Belgium. “Hunger was used as a weapon of war,” he says.

Its not being as extensively reported on by The Guardian, also it cant be pinned or blamed in anyway, on Trump and/or the UK government, so its useless as a political cudgel for far left mental midgets.

Not gonna lie, if I was told someone on here was a terrorist and had to pick a suspect, it'd probably be you.
It'd be something queer like an eco-terrorist or something, but you deffo fit the profile.

Like I said mate, for somebody who admitted cumming inside a blow up sheep, you have zero credibility making judgements about other people
