I think there’s a special window with the club World Cup. Started yesterday I think, so cocked up my post anyways haha.
Think the lad is just saying why two contrasting figures anyhow it’s exciting just away to the scratcher will be looking with one eye closed the morn
Window opened yesterday until the 10th then opens on the 16th again. it’s all just administrative anyway. The summer window is effectively open indefinitely now in terms of negotiations and rumours flowing
If his release clause was €40m doesn’t that mean they can just pay up and we get no say in the deal? If we’re getting close to €30m with a sell on, even 5% if he goes for £50m+ in the future and keeping up a good relationship with the player it looks good for other young lads joining the club that we won’t hold them back but also potentially building a relationship with Dortmund which wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Oh right, that's bloody weird isn't it!? No doubt driven by the big clubs in the club cup competition. Ridiculous that if enough of the big boys ask for it, the powers that be will just change the rules for them...
Prem might change that? Would be nice if a leak came out today following the jobe news but I’m sure we have everything under control
I’m not very good at this am I? The app I looked at had him playing both sides no idea which suits him best mind
I think he’s right footed but plays left. Same as Blake I just mentioned. It’d be weird getting Adjngra now, basically swapping players.
Be disappointing to lose Jobe, he's a class player that will only get better. Sounds like we are pushing for €40 million but the last €10 million being performance related. He will be easier to replace in the PL than he would in the championship but I'll still be sad to see him go. I get the attraction of going to Dortmund but by following the move his brother made he'll keep being compared to him. I wish him all the best though, he's given everything for the shirt - can't ask for more. I wanted a dominate CDM even if Jobe stayed so the priority doesn't change in that sense, Le Fee needs to play deeper so while he's a different type to Jobe, getting him in a deeper role is key Still excited to see what we do, especially given the extra money we will receive from the Jobe deal As always it's about who we recruit, selling Jobe could make us better.... it could also make us worse, time will tell
RM option - Roony Bardghji Talented young winger, out of contract at the end of 2025. Be loads of competition for him but wonder if we might be the best option for him
