Going to be mad with all the changes I think mate. Fresh into the prem. With all this new corporate hospitality offer and the money that's been spent on kitchens and gear etc. Least the take up should be high now with PL football on the go.
It looks like the Founders bar, and other hospitality areas, will be sold out this coming season ... ... the prophecies of doom seem unfounded. Promotion will probably mean employment for around a hundred more local people.
When will season tickets go back on-sale? 2025-26 season tickets are now off-sale and will remain off sale in preparation for switching ticketing systems from Ticketmaster UK to Seat Geek, we expect dates to be confirmed mid June. “I still haven’t come down from what was the most incredible football experience of my life last weekend. My boyhood club is going to the Premier League, it still doesn’t feel real given what this club has been through in our recent past, but times are changing. “I’m so proud of what our group of employees have achieved. We have staff that understand what it means to our brilliant fans and care deeply. We have reestablished the heart of our club so that we can deliver across every interaction with fans. This club has its soul back. Everything we did during the playoffs was best-in-class. I truly believe that when we are at the top of our game as a club, no one can beat us. Looking around Wembley before kick-off, it was clear to anyone our fan base deserved to be the in the Premier League. Playoffs needed to feel like a step change, and it did: the bus, the superb content and storytelling, the player arrival and fan welcome at the SoL, the stadium Tifo, and not forgetting the late drama on the pitch! It did not feel like the regular season - we had our point of distinction. “Wembley was magical. Seeing so many ex players, legends, managers, family and friends in emotional states of frenzy was a reminder of what this means to our city and club. The great man whose name now adorns our West Stand (The Jimmy Montgomery Stand) was particularly emotional, and so was I. What a day! We have a lot more in store for this amazing club and we are excited to be back in the most important League in sports. Sunderland fans we know what your support means and we do not take it lightly. We won’t get it all right but we strive to do right by you every single day. We are Premier League.” David Bruce Sunderland AFC
There are some very good people working for our club now mind. Almost unbelievable that so much positive change has been achieved in such a short space of time. Anyone loudly predicting this four years or so ago might have found themselves talking to a sympathetic bloke in a white coat.
It’s bewildering as a Sunderland supporter that the club is being run, what’s the word again….? Professionally. And for the first time in decades.
When you appoint top class operators with outstanding cvs you will get your rewards and that’s what we are getting now. Absolute jackpot with Bruce being a lads fan as well. Incredible work so far since he’s come in, but that’s what you get when you pay for quality. Long may it continue.
The new footbridge is looking really impressive and will be a boost for Sheepfolds and the home/away supporters. Looking at the drone footage three things spring to mind. Will the decision on placement of the away supporters be affected by the bridge. How will this affect trade for the Bridge Street pubs like the Museum, Victory, etc. Who will be asked to cut the ribbon and open it.
It's absolutely class. Going to make a big difference. I get to see it regular from sheepfolds corporate areas so it looks right across.
