Southamptons big 4 all from prem and Leicester 6/9 from prem
Are you in favour of us signing Mepham? Premier league experience but not the fastest or biggest.

We absolutely can. But we do need a bit of both in my eyes.

I certainly don’t wants us just catching the baton of plodders who bounce from one relegated side to another though.

Saints I’d love Harwood -Bellis, KWP and Ramsdale.

Leicester I’d take Hermansen and Fatawu (lefty!)

Ipswich I like Hutchison and Davies.

I don’t think for a second we look at any of those.
Personally don't think either of these would cut it, and Davis is a mag so id stay away regardless.

I agree with this but I reckon the majority of these players would cost £15-20m even despite the relegations.

call it revisionism but only harwood bellis and Ronnie Edward’s are good signings there

This is why we’ll do better, our recruitment is better

99 out of 100 players would choose Brentford over us at the moment. That changes if we stay up this season but it’s just the way things are with them being established.
The whole way the leagues and distribution of money is set up is the most galling thing for me. There is no way a team like Brentford or Bournemouth or even Brighton should be a more attractive option than us. But that's the way it is and the way sky money has created this false set up. Its almost impossible for a newly promoted team to stay up which is surely never a good thing or look for the premier league.. the best league in world? My arse.

Aye their squad is bloated with loans.

Wouldn't rule out us having another pop at Adingra
Yeah. Versatility feels important and Adingra has that. I’ve never liked a slavish ‘two for every position’ mindset. Just means you can be knackered by a couple of injuries if you’re unlucky. This is even more pronounced with RLB. He’s not likely to change his ways and suddenly start rotating loads or using his max subs every week. He’ll need good quality players who he can trust in multiple roles. It also leaves space for growth from our existing players.

Yeah. Also if you double up every position and go down, you are diving with financial hell.

I think you need 2 for each across the back, versatility in the middle, and a mix up top.
