Just logged in and can't believe some of you are trying to start an argument over negative/positive posts .. We've just won one of our biggest games in living memory and you want to argue, FFS just enjoy these very rare moments ...

Just put the people you don’t like on ignore and get on with your day.

When a Sunderland supporter posts, before Coventry, that he’s going to bump my post so he can laugh at me when we’re knocked out in the semis …

… I’ll reserve the right to bump the post myself, and laugh at him, when we’re in the Premier League.

It’s a forum for opinions, including mine.

It’ll be the fan videos that get me through the next few days. Loved the Trai Hume pint one. Would kill for some pics from the afterparty:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I’ve never seen football players act more like supporters in my long life. When Ballard’s goal went in, the final whistle against Coventry and post match yesterday …

… it was like there was no difference between the players and supporters.

I’m not sure how many clubs can say that tbh.

Just back home now.
Absolutely brilliant weekend with my two sons. Eldest lad had been with me at Wembley in 98 v Charlton.
My wife was also with us that day, pregnant with my youngest lad.
He was with us yesterday for his first proper Wembley. Thinks its all a piece of piss this winning at Wembley lark...
Unforgettable weekend.
Looking forward to the summer and next season.
Thanks again @RTB for you brilliant MDT's. Enjoy a well deserved break and look forward to your Premier League versions.

oh aye, when roberts was floored (before the 2nd goal) the linesman clearly flagged for a foul yet the ref with a bad view of it, waved play on...and yes i was totally p1ssed off with it because i often wonder why we rarely see a linesman flag for an offence other than offside, now i see why.

I went absolutely ape **** over it! If the referee is not going to take the linesmen's view and one that was totally closer than his, what's the point of them being there?

I don't normally but I'm going to watch the whole 90+ back just to see how we actually played.
I think the nervousness just got the better of me, during the game I thought we were poor and sheff utd were by far the better team, but looking at the stats I don't think that was actually the case.
I think knowing the outcome may let me see that we actually played ok, especially after the VAR decision

Just got home, didn’t participate much on this thread due to copious amounts of alcohol & sheer joy ! Now I’m home and had time to reflect I can honestly say that apart from my wedding day and the birth of my kids that the weekend was simply 2 of the best days of my life. From the moment I caught my breath after climbing them bastard stairs I haven’t been able to just breath it in and savour it all. So proud of those players, staff and owners but our support was quite simply magnificent, we have been tested to the limit the last 8 or 9 years but by god we proved we love our club, it’s great to see a bunch of players that appreciate that. Back to the big time where we belong!

Well back home after a great time.

My 2 pence with on the match. I think the nerves took over, especially with Sheffield starting the way they did. Patto's save was absolutely class and if that went in, I think we could've struggled big style. They were closing us down quickly in midfield, a bit like Coventry did, but when we did give it away cheaply I don't think they did much with it.

Have to admit that Hamers pass for Campbell was seriously good but even though we had 3 men round him, we didn't really press him enough for me. When they scored the second, I thought that was it but VAR got us out of jail - I dunno why people don't kind it very much! <laugh>

Chalking the second goal off have is a new lease of life and woke us up. We finished the half strongly and then started the second half as Sheffield did the first.

Reggie's subs were absolutely superb and made the difference between the 2 sides, especially bringing Dan Neil off and bring Enzo back. After that Sheffield just couldn't live with us. We had pace to burn up front and trickery on the wings. We pushed them back and back and Wilder didn't have an answer for it!

The more I watch Mayenda's goal, the now I'm impressed by it - hopefully now he can trust his right foot more if he can purchase that much power with it. And what can I say about Tommy's winner? An absolutely sublime finish and he put it in exactly the same place as the one Patto saved!

I don't think the result has totally sunk in yet but the more I watch videos of the goals and stuff both the club and other fans put out, the emotion is starting to come to the fore.

Think it might be time to invest in a couple of season tickets for next season.

Does anyone know the exact time Mayenda scored his goal? Think it could be time for a new tattoo! Thinking of going with Ballard's, Mayenda's and Watson's goal times under my black cat tattoo

Obviously different watching the goals back now but at the time, I thought Roberts pass was under hit and Watsons shot too soft. <laugh>
I was convinced Paddy's pass didn't have enough on it as well and couldn't believe it when it made it to Mayenda! As for Tommy's goal, slow motion doesn't even come close to watching it go in! Absolutely incredible.
