Impressive team sheet, any idea what the score was?
Would you believe 0-0.
I should have guessed.I should have guessed.
I'm pretty sure that's the game that John Hawley once told me about, where he simply couldn't get past Bobby Moore, whatever he tried.
We may have been stood next to each other, there wasn't many there as I remember. (I was the tall good looking chap wearing a trilby, you, probably, was the other good looking young fellow)
Is he still in the antiques business? And whatever became of that other great forward we had, one Stewart Pearson?
He is still in the antiques business and Stuart Pearson still works for Man United, doing corporate work and presenting on their in house MUTV channel.
I think this is almost the same team C'r. You don't know their names do you and possibly the years of each photo?

Here goes Craig.
Les Collinson, Dennis Butler, the goalie has me stumped at the moment, Eric McMillan, Paul Feasy
Dougie Clark, Billy Wilkinson, Jock Davidson, Chris Chilton, Ray Henderson, John McSeveney. ............. I will have to wrack my brains over the goalie.
My husband has checked Season '61/62 and after Sat 23rd of September all 5 matches to Wed the 11th Oct were played away from Hull(1 League Cup game) and from Sat 14th of Oct to 11th of Nov 4 consecutive matches were played at home(1 FA Cup).
Also at the end of the season 10 matches were played between Fri 30th March and the last match on 3rd of May. In April 8 matches were played including games played on 2 consecutive days suggesting a catch-up scenario.
So Charles we bow to your recollections and were wrong about the 60's outbreak.

First time post here so I hope I'm right.
Keepers I remember from around that time - Maurice Swan and Ian McKechnie but there was a second string keeper who I think this is.
So here's a name.....
Mike Williams
but please don't shout at me if I'm wrong!
Right Folks, this will test you. I need some names for the 50-51 and 65-66 teams below. The winner gets a lock of Jimmy Bullard's hair!
