I think Gelhardt needs to go back out wide if he has to be on the pitch. Think he tries to do too much on his own and it's not coming off for him at the moment. He gets closed down and caught in possession there too often. When we are struggling at that end of the pitch so much we need someone who at the very least keeps the ball moving and looks for teammates. I'd probably opt for Crooks.
Id agree with this. Gelhardt Pedro Kamara front 3

Just so I'm sure, you genuinely believe they would admit it and discuss it with randomers online, you really believe people of that kind of wealth and in those kinds of businesses would do that.....

Thought you said it wasn't the Canadians anyway, so isn't it a moot point?

I used to be all over Destiny 1 and 2. Used to regularly see someone called THETIGERSOFHULL in the tower which always made me smile. Problem is it's endless nature makes it so time consuming if your brain works like mine does. It stopped me playing pretty much anything else. Had to knock it on the head one day.

That's fair, yeah it seems to have this effect where you can always find something to do, which is great for the most part but like you said it means you end up tunnel visioned. As somebody with OCD and ADHD it's a ****ing nightmare getting everything, I have this completionism complex which means I can't leave anything unchecked <laugh>.

To compete at the higher levels its almost a requisite to have a billionaire owner or certainly a group capable of funding things to a merry tune. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not in the Acun out camp, but is there any fans who wouldn't welcome a billionaire owner in charge of us, and having someone more calmer in control.

If we had a new owner, and if they are going to get 'involved' Acun style, then please all I request is someone who previously played as a striker!

Hi everyone its my first post / comment on not606.

I think if city go down on saturday, acuns position becomes untenable IMO. Ultimately, during his tenure the club HAS gone backwards. It's upsetting the club had so much headroom and potential when he took over and it has since been crushed by unforgivable mistakes, lack of "proper" decision making and naivety. One thing you CANNOT do is treat fans, players and this division with contempt, because you WILL get punished. We're currently watching this exact scenario unfold live. Hopefully the lads do the business on saturday and everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.
I think Matty its not a question of contempt but more a case of total and absolute naiivety.

the only reason i could think "they're not playing for him" is perhaps some players are struggling with how he wants them to play in order to stay in the division. Certain players body language is off, then again that could be anything. Idk, its open for discussion isn't it, everyones got their own opinions.
That being the case this set of players are even bigger ****s than we know they are and they were under TW when it was too hard for their brains, or maybe they had to run a bit further or a bit harder. Poor little lambs,

This still really annoys me and I can't seem to let it go <laugh>. Baz just said "The club spent £2m on Mason Burstow in the summer". At the time when he was asked he said it was significantly less and a 'no brainer' but transfermarkt and other reports all suggested around the 2m.

Ohio was bought for 850k, loved it here and showed he could make a difference. Granted he was still a bit raw and would need some development.
I just can't understand what they were thinking with this decision at all.

So we spent almost £5m on

Joseph and burstow

Ffs <laugh>
If i was acun, id walk away
Who the **** thought they were good decisions

only 2m more and we could have had cannon, infact if we didn’t buy crooks aswell. We’ve bought him

I wonder how much crooks actually cost

What another waste of a signing

We can criticise acun for a lot

But who is telling him to pay for all these **** signings
He wouldnt have heard of any of them

Let’s be honest most of jan was
Joseph
Crooks
Amrabat has tried hard in the last few games but other than 1 decent pass he hasn’t offered anymore than longman would have

Selles and his staff must be to blame for jan surely?
