I suppose, it does sound like we are facing a similar fate next year like but some will buy the notion we are capable of pushing top 6 if we stay up
Without naming names, there have been players starting games since the international break who have probably been told they need to leave. It’s an utterly ridiculous decision. How would you react if your employer said you needed to be let go in a few months but in the meantime, the company’s struggling and we need everyone to pull through and work together to save the company? Some teachers in that scenario might do it for nothing more than the students just like some players (Amrabat) would do it for the fans. Others will probably think ‘you’re taking the piss if you think I’m running through brick walls for you’.
I wouldnt be surprised if acun thought we were safe back then and made those decisions Just another backfiring thing
true as much as we like to fantasise most players dont give a **** about their club theyre not from the area theyre not supporters they want as much money as they can get and/or play at big clubs
Or maybe it's simply related to the fact that we have a squad that is too big and that, as Selles himself has already clearly said, he wants to work with a smaller squad? I too would have thought the club would leave such discussions until after the final day, but maybe that's just not the way it works in practice. Sounds to me like, once again, the narrative is running, nay sprinting, away with itself once again, and the haters are inevitably piling on. Let's just wait and see a) what happens on Saturday - it isn't all over, we could well still stay up, and b) what is announced in the few days after the last game IF the worst happens.
I've read some **** on here over the years but today is going above and beyond. We're going bust, into administration, millions in debt, players on the piss, players on drugs, Acun wants to sell, players told they will be sold (it's the end of the season FFS they know that) and a whole load more speculation and guess work.
