Next season League One will be very weak given who's coming down and who is still there. There's no 'massive' clubs like a Sunderland, Derby, etc. we'd almost be the biggest club down there. While that doesn't count for a whole heap, in terms of attracting players who are good at that level we would be ok. We also have a strong (albeit injured) squad already for that level. Joseph could be this season's Magennis for instance. Kamara this season's Honeyman. They look poor in the Championship and then light up League One for us. Sure we'd probably lose a few of our gems to balance the books but unless Acun is entirely sick of us and goes from being all lovey dovey with supporters to the next Dai Yongge, I just can't see a world that is as bleak as some are painting it.

Specsavers might be able to help you there.

Kamaras proven at league one

He'd be good

Youre right
Its def the 'weakest' league one for ahwile
Not saying itll be easy but we def have a good chance there

If we start the season well
Everything bad will be forgotten

It only took about 4 games under Grant for even the worst relegation of all time to be cast aside.

You're another who needs to pick a lane. <laugh> Do I need Specsavers to see how bad it's about to get or do I need to cheer up and be optimistic about us staying up?

There are a number of scenarios next Saturday at full time which will determine which road the chaps upstairs will go although they probably will end with the same result just how they go about it once they know which league they are in I suppose it matters to some parties.

No harm being optimistic though Sydney.

As Brady said, I'd rather be optimistic about next season in League One, and be happy with us staying up. Just as I went into last night's game expecting us to lose 1-0 to Derby so when it eventuated I didn't feel quite as outraged as everyone else did.

Should have had a punt on the result Syd.

If we do go down we’ve almost got a ready made squad. A solid core of defenders, Slater, Kamara, Joseph, Crooks. A keeper who if he stayed would be the best in that division.

I think people are going to be disappointed when we go down to League One and Acun doesn’t spend loads like Birmingham did. The man’s a fraud and a wolf in sheep clothing.

I would not bet on that some have value and will have interest and be sold every player is available for sale especially players like Pandur and few others.

I imagine if we go down we’ll see Pandur and Hughes sold as they are our most sellable assets.

If we go down the squad will be absolutely decimated and no matter what league we ended up in, some members of the squad have already been told to find clubs during the last international break. ( absolutely suicidal way to do things when staring down the barrel of relegation ) and it shows..

Those listed aren’t going to be in huge demand though, are they?
