Those listed aren’t going to be in huge demand though, are they?
If there is interest in slater you can bet there is interest in the rest.

If we go down the squad will be absolutely decimated and no matter what league we ended up in, some members of the squad have already been told to find clubs during the last international break. ( absolutely suicidal way to do things when staring down the barrel of relegation ) and it shows..
I would not bet on that some have value and will have interest and be sold every player is available for sale especially players like Pandur and few others.
Mehlem
Omur
Giles
Pandur
Hughes
Will all def be gone
Youd think we' get at least 15m?
If that is the case (and I’m not doubting you) that makes sense as to why our form has fallen off so badly.
Selles must be kicking himself for coming too.
Mehlem, Omur, Racioppi, Giles, Alzate would all likely be off for starters and would bring in a reasonable amount if for no other reason than getting wages off the books plus reasonable fees.
I'm intrigued by the notion that some players Selles has been regularly selecting have been told to find new clubs as I can't imagine who that could be - Jones? Coyle? Slater? I doubt it'd be Pedro/Gelhardt/Amrabat for obvious reasons, nor Kamara, Hughes or Pandur. Could see someone like Palmer being told he doesn't have a future but he's not been playing as much anyway, perhaps Burstow too but ditto he hasn't played much.
Absolutely ridiculous and suicidal decision by the club to inform players they need to find new clubs during the international break when we’re in a relegation battle. The players haven’t been good enough and need to take responsibility but the performances recently make a lot of sense. Great motivation for players when we’re staring relegation in the face to tell them a month before the season ‘oh, by the way, you need to be sold in the summer because we’re skint’. ****ing abysmal. Acun needs to **** off.
To me it sounds like its telling fringe players to look for new clubs
Jacob
Pedro ( in terms of telling him we wont give him a new deal)
Surely

Apparently it’s not just fringe players and they weren’t told they need to leave because we don’t want them but because we need the money. The club is in deep **** and I’m sure more will come out when the season ends.

Yeah I could only imagine us telling players not playing much or at all like Jacob as you say. Burstow, Jacob, Palmer, (maybe) Pedro. I doubt we're pulling Alzate or Kamara into the coach's office telling him to **** off...
Why did they do that?If we go down the squad will be absolutely decimated and no matter what league we ended up in, some members of the squad have already been told to find clubs during the last international break. Any names? Just can't reconcile us being skint and needing the money and needing to push players out, but then saying "Yeah why not" to signing both Puerta and Zambrano.
Why did they do that?
I did say a few weeks ago I’m sure agents are pushing in April to find out what’s happening for their clients?!
Other posters know more than me and out of respect to them, I wasn’t going to start discussing details until after the final game. Mainly because I have a tiny smidgen of hope we’ll stay up and things posted on here often makes it way to Twitter and Facebook. We know some players read the stuff on here and social media. I think the last thing we need right now is lots of tweets saying ‘of course so and so has been **** because he was told to leave the club in March’. The players already know but it just creates more distractions and drama.
Because the clubs in self preservation mode, some, as others have said is normal procedure in certain circumstances. But it's way more then just fringe players and players with no chance of a future. It's upset the moral around the squad and it's ( in my opinion) showing on the pitch and performances. The club should have just kept their powder dry until we had our champ future secured.
